Boyfriend gave me birthday presents tonight (he got back into town late Thursday night). *pets* He's a VERY good boyfriend *G*

He got me:

• A set of 4 legal pads (kind of as a joke since he borrowed one of my portfolios to do job interviews and used up the legal pad paper inside... but, really, what writer doesn't like getting fresh, yummy pads of paper?! Yum! heehee)
  
• Tire pressure guage- I didn't have one and we needed one once and had to guess on the pressure since there wasn't one on the air pump at the gas station- grrr
  
• The most recent Dar Williams CD I didn't yet have- I asked him for it, but TOTALLY love that he remembered. Cannot wait to listen to it. Dar is my absolute favorite female singer... I'd do her in an instant if she wasn't married :-) I love her music SO bloody much
  
• FAKE Volume 4!!!!!!!!!! What a sweetie! I mentioned once that I couldn't go to B&N because I would be compelled to buy it... so he bought it for me! My cute widdle gay police officers! *G* And, yeah, okay, as soon as he wasn't watching me flip through the book I turned right to yummy part with Dee getting sick *swoons* Luckily I'd just had sex with boyfriend so I didn't feel quite so quilty... but... ohhh yummy sick and feverish and sneezing boy... yum yum And with the bomb and getting shot on top of this... it really isn't a good volume as far as Dee is concerned, is it? Lots of owing for him
  
• Sign Language (by Viggo of course)- He ordered it but it's not being shipped for another month, most likely. Takes 4-6 weeks. But YAY!
  

What a sweetie! Indulging my fangirl sides!!! *pets* Good boyfriend pays attention to my random squeeing and obsessions. I'm just in awe that he remembered it was called FAKE and that the next one I needed was number 4. He knows NOTHING about manga. He's briefly seen my pointing my first FAKE manga out in pride, but that's it. I was very impressed that he got me the right one and everything. Gooooood boyfriend. :-)


Okay, I'm done now. Going to go finish Friday Fic before it's not even Saturday any more! LOL I've got less than an hour to finish it before Wolf's Rain comes on! EEEEEEEEE! Happy happy! *crosses fingers that they don't mess it up too much*

GAH! I've been looking for Sign Language EVERYWHERE, but nobody will ship it to Canada!
Well, I might not have a scanner when I get it... but if I do (or when I get it hooked up again) I'll maybe try and put some of it online for you. Just a little bit, obviously. But I'm not sure yet where my scanner's going when I move, so it might take a while.
But, yeah, Boyfriend ordered it off Amazon.com. Takes 6 weeks to get here.

And YEE! FAKE!! Ohh, I love that issue. Number one, can't go wrong with sickly!Dee. And Ryo taking care of him... ohh, precious.
*Squees with happiness* You're telling me! I love Dee flipping out when he realizes he's sick... and then falling on the floor and immediately wanting Ryo there with him... awwww... poor baby...

And the bomb thingy, when Ryo flips out and throws himself at Dee...
Oh, wouldn't you, though? If your partner and person you were secretly attracted to/in love with insisted you stay away because he was about to die and he wanted to save you? I mean, Dee definitely has that reputation of being a pain in the ass... but he has SO many selfless acts throughout the series... especially in this one. I just can't help but love that about him every time I read the manga over and over again.

And I even sort of liked JJ in that one... a little bit... almost.
LOL! I was trying to find him in it to point it out to Boyfriend... I remember saying something like "Ohhh! This one has almost nothing of JJ." "Is that good?" he asked me. "Ohhhhh yes," I replied. I do almost like him in this one... because he's not there long enough to be too annoying. And I giggle every time Dee pushes him off on the other cop. heehee!

Plus Bikky gets all sweet and selfless, too, and possibly scores. Yeah. If he just didn't keep changing ages as far as his image, I'd be really happy. heehee I love little Volume 1 Bikky crying into Ryo's chest. But 'determined to do something good' Bikky is certainly nice. And he's a character that usually I can take or leave.

And, yes! More fanfic! *G* Happy happy! :-)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! And I'm sorry I didn't submit anything to your birthday challenge. I just... couldn't think of something fabulous enough for you.
LMAO! *blushes* But, really, thank you for the bday wishes... I'm so behind, that they're really still right on time :-) And as for the challenge, well, there's an ADORABLE mini-movie sniffly Orli LJ icon I'm going to start using any day now with credit to you... so I do believe that counts as something. *G* So no worries! :-)

But, now that it's all over and you know, I can ask you -- make me a request.... If I don't know the fandom, I'll either wing it ((which, heh, could be dangerous)) or you can pick something else. *bows*

Really, I am totally in a FAKE mood. So if anything sparks your inspiration in that category, I'd LOVE to read it... even just general H/C or angst if you're not in a sneezefic kinda mood... All the ficlettes with them of yours I've read (uh... two? three?) have blown me away, honestly. And that's hard to do nowadays! I really dig your style when writing the boys.
But, yeah, no pressure or anything of course. I'm just always happy to read more with them, and not at ALL able to write them myself yet to fill that urge :-)
heck, took me over 3 years to even start getting the Velvet Goldmine characters in order! :-)

Mmm, paper. I love buying spiral notebooks and just looking at the pretty blankness of the paper. It's so wonderful feeling. <3
Oohhhhhh! Yes yes! *giggles* Nobody who doesn't write understands that feeling. I never write on the first page of a notebook... I've just got this fear that I'll write something that will turn out horrible and be stuck looking at it every time I open the notebook forever. So I always skip the first page. heehee. And most times I write backwards... like I start with the last page and write from there. Just to change things up a little and get myself thinking/creating in a different way *G* I've such an obsession with fresh paper and new notebooks... yes yes... *G* *is thrilled she can ramble about this to someone who actually won't think she's insane for saying it*
