A few more books

I stopped by the library on the way to work today. Mangas were all gone *pouts* But I got a few more things (everything was half-priced)

  • Dragonfly in Amber by Diana Gabaldon- for BookCrossing with (I'm saving up for next April's Tartan Day Challenge already!)
  • Scottish Highlands and Islands guidebook- See comment above ^^
  • Star Wars: The Paradise Snare (Book 1 of Han Solo Trilogy) by A.C. Crispin- because the copy I have is for BookCrossing, and now I can keep one for my own
  • Star Wars: Dark Apprentice by Kevin Anderson- Because it looked good... I'm not really a fan of post-series storylines, but I kept getting drawn to this one so I bought it and shall give it a shot
  • Tae Bo Video- 8 minute workout- Because I didn't have it already and it's definitely worth fifty cents to me! I love Billy!
  • Tae Bo Video- Advanced workout- See comment above ^^
  • Dinatopia Lost by Alan Dean Foster (Hardback)- A BEAUTIFUL novel about Dinatopia. I've read one of the kids books but have always wanted to read them all... and I didn't realize there were thick novels like this, too! And now I own one and can read it whenever- yayness!

On a completely unrelated note... much owness going on. Had the same symptoms last week (I tend to think it's allergies) but I have an ache at the back of my head and in my ears when I swallow. Intense pain, and some sore-throat pain but that's drawfed by the ears & right under/behind the ears. It's crazy. Usually my allergies are horrible but not anything like this (just different). So I dunno what it is *sigh* I'm probably just dying. No big. LOL

More good finds for you! I went to our book sale today and got 9 books. Three of them were dog related for the challenge and most of the others looked like pretty good reads. I did get one I had read and liked Cane River for a BC book. Next time I must go earlier in the week, the paperbacks were pretty well picked over but there were a lot of current hardcovers.

Sorry you're not feeling well, that really sucks. I'm sure you're not dying, I'd miss you :)
