This is sooooo wonderful, thank you so much!
This fic is everything I wanted and more.

I loved sick Colby at the beginning, so cute and sneezy, trying to deny he was sick, Who did he think he was fooling:) Of course he wanted to be tough and stay at work. I really liked the "it must be my allergies..." line. Don was also great, kind of exasperated after the hours of sneezing Colby, but still concerned.

I loved this line -

Feeling the light misting spray of that one, Don sighed and picked up the box of tissues. He held it out to Colby. "Bless you." He added, pointedly, "Again."

I thought the case worked well, didn't even notice the lack of math. We got to see concerned Charlie which was very nice. Don getting shot was well done - a little injury, very nice h/c, then how perfect that he came down with Colby's cold.

I liked the way the team handled him being sick and interacted him, and I loved guilty Colby trying to help him feel better. It was sooooo good. Poor cute sick boys, if they needed a nurse I would be so available :)

I also thought it was true to Don's character that once he actually went home, he'd get an idea and go back to work. Why bother calling :). The references to the Eppes family dynamics were also right on.

Also, though there's too many to list, all the little touches were just right too; Colby trying to comfort Don and joking with him after he was shot, Don trying to not to sneeze on the case file.

To sum it up, I would have to say it was a fantastic fic. Thank you so much for writing it for me. It was one of the things that helped make my Christmas so nice after such a crappy month :) You are the best.

I hope to be getting back to your fic soon. I'm glad you got my card. I was going to do one with my kids in their Harry and Hermione costumes and have a line about a "magical Christmas" but that picture from the Red Sox game this summer is my absolute favorite picture of them.
