Just watched 8 Simple Rules.
Twas the episode where John Ritter's character dies on the show. Ohhh I cried through the whole damn show. Non-stop. Half a box of tissues and a few napkins, minimum. So sad!!! I mean, it was a wonderful show and I think it helped the kids deal with it especially. But my gods, that must have been impossible to film. I had a hard time watching it and I didn't really even know the guy. SO sad. *sniffles*

-hugs- I just watched it too. I missed part of it because I had to wash the bleach out of my hair lest my hair fall out, but I cried most of the time I was watching it, as well.

It's weird... feeling so sad about a comedy star, a guy I've never met. But I suppose that's the way people are nowadays with entertainment figures- we fall in love with their work and feel as though we know them in some sense. It was really a 'general death' sort of episode, though, so that was one of the reasons I was crying. And I really do think it did him justice. I was a little nervous about how they'd pull it off when I heard they were continuing the show. Anyway... glad to know I'm not alone in being sad and sappy.
