H/C Alphabet Challenge to tg

Hi all :-) First off, I want to assure the people I haven't finished gifts for yet that they're all started and all on their way. I know I keep saying that, but it's still true. I keep hitting writer's block, which has been slowing things down a little. But slow and steady... I HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN THEM!

That being said, I feel the need to write little somethings/drabbles. And what I'm asking for from you all is to give me prompts. I want to write one H/C drabble for every letter of the alphabet. I can't promise sneezing in every single one- that's up to the muses- but I'd like it to be a collection of hurt/comfort drabbles.
So... what I'd like you all to do is:
1- Pick a letter
2- Tell me a word that starts with that letter that you want me to write the drabble about
3- Give me a character or pairing you want me to write the drabble about

Only one word per letter, first come, first serve. Give me something challenging, people!

But, um, not too challenging ;-)

pornish_pixies doing :-) She got much stranger pairing requests than I've had so far... but maybe that's because mine's not restricted to one fandom

Oooh, this is an awesome Challenge!

I have so many ideas I can't stand it, but I'll play fair and just pick one for now (unless I'm allowed more, but I'll still wait and let others have a crack at it first.)

That being said, I'm going to jump in and claim the letter F, for fever. I'd like it to be about Legolas (big shocker there!), paired with Gimli if possible. Thanks!!

Ohhh, I love this idea. LadyKorona and I have been having fun coming up with a whole alphabet-o-fun. I hope its okay if I make a suggestion.

How about whipping for W. I would like Nagi from Weiss to be the comforted one. I'd be okay with either Schuldich, Omi, or Crawford for the pairing.

Hope that's not too hard a challenge. Feel free to change it around if you want.

PS--I LOVE your Weiss mood indicator.

I'm glad you and Lady K had fun coming up with a whole alphabet worth! Hey, the idea wasn't originally mine so you're welcome to write an alphabetical drabble series of your own! And I'm very glad you jumped in and made a suggestion! Thanks :-)

I didn't change it *too* much, apart from adding a couple pairings in passing. Hopefully you'll like the result (just posted). I'm not so experienced writing Nagi... and I'm fairly sure this is my first Omi/Nagi... but I hope it's all right.

What a great challenge, so hard to pick only one letter though! I'm picking R for rain. And although I really think I should pick something different for a change, I'm not going to. Puppy fic please :)

Whoa. Spoooooky! Last week I was flipping through channels and stumbled on an anime that looked so terribly familiar. I blinked and literally shouted "OMG it's Yami no Matsuei!!!" I'd never heard it dubbed before *facepalm* I keep forgetting it's on and missing it, even though I have a video tape ready to tape it. Doh! But I've seen bits and it's refreshing my memory bigtime. And Watari... mmmm, sexy accent! *rubs hands together* I could definitely work with that... But Muraki sounds closer to Bert from Sesame Street. Ugh! Still, it's definitely relit my interest in the series and the nummy boys *G*

Anyway, as I was watching it an hour or two ago, I was thinking how interesting it would be to try a sneezefic with the characters. And now you've given me an excuse to! heehee!

That is pretty spooky! I just happened to have been reading the most recent volume, so...yeah. Glad I could give you a reason to work with them! *grin*

The only time I've seen it dubbed was this pop-up video type thing that they did with the first Queen Camellia ep. Some of the things that they came up with were hysterical, and it was worth putting up with Muraki and the Guushoushin brothers' so-very-WRONG voice casting.

Anyway, they're showing it on AZN, a channel I didn't even know about until I stumbled on YNM. It's the channel for Asian America but doesn't seem to have a lot of anime, so I'm just thrilled one of the few is YNM or, rather, Decendents of Darkness. But, yeah, it's not mainstream TV...

It's sad that Dr.M's voice is so unfortunately terrible. I get so pulled in by the uber-sexy seme visuals and then he speaks and I want to throw the TV out the window. Man, the pop-up video type thing sounds amazing, though! LOL :-)

Weeeeelllll... what's stuck in my head for this happens to be a Highlander: the series scene (I'm sort of the keeper of Duncan's honor). Is it okay if I play with that or would you prefer I attempt something in a fandom you're more familiar with?

Well, I'll tell you that I don't know a thing about Highlander. I've never seen the movies or show so I won't know what the heck is going on but you can write whatever makes you happy. It is your challenge. I didn't specify anything because I figured you wouldn't want to write anything in one of my fandoms. And I certainly don't want to hold you back if you have an idea you like. ;-)

Could I ask for Brothers for B? I've not really got anything specific in mind but maybe Bill and Charlie if you fancied it?

I've been wanting to write a specific sea-longing fic for sooo long. And I've had an h/c one in mind that would be perfect for this... but- DOH! It's sick!Gimli.

No worries, though. I'm certain I'll figure something out. Certainly there's more I can do with this word...

Honestly, sick Gimli is no problem for an angsty H/C drabble if that's where your muses take you. I'm not picky. Though, of course, I wouldn't dream of turning down sick!Legolas either. *G*

And besides, I've been meaning to submit a sea-longing bunny to the plot bunny generator that would be more for fun with sniffly Legolas...probably something to do with finding out that sea longing screws with elven immune systems or something along those lines. Loads of yumminess potential there!

I'll be on the lookout for the books. I just cleaned out the closet in my old room at my parents' house and I found all my dozens of ST:TNG and DS9 books, as well as my really nice hardback copy of Anne of Green Gables, so it's been an exciting book week for me. :)
