This was fun to write, even if it didn't turn out exactly as I'd envisioned. A chance to combine my boys with hockey? Yes, please! I hope that you like it :-)

All this amazing feedback and not a single mention of Coulson's attachment to his suit? In my original notes I had "Coulson's wearing his lucky suit" and ended up abandoning that idea quickly :-)

Goalie!Clint was so much fun to write. Just the image of him in uniform, guh! What a great prompt to put that image in my head!

So glad you liked all these details, especially their interactions. They're such opposites but when they work toward the same noble goal, it's amazing how well they balance each other out naturally without even trying. And the fun of writing one of my favorite pairings is getting to write them at a point where they trust and know each other so well :-)

I was going to write about how much I loved the scene with Clint trying to get Phil's suit off but then...I thought it would be a little too obvious for me to gush about that. ;-)

You know me, though, I really, really enjoyed reading that part and loved that you put it in there for me. And I love the idea of Coulson having a "lucky suit". That's another story waiting to happen. I'm glad that you enjoyed writing this and adding two of your favorite things together.
