Highlander possibilities
Jul. 11th, 2003 03:22 amOK, just had to share. Watched a few third season episodes of Highlander with boyfriend tonight (more of the Anne Lindsey drama... UG... I've never liked chipmunk girl) Point is, there was a scene that was cut the first time around that I'd never seen before in 'Testimony'. Anne comes up to the top of the barge to talk with Duncan about the whole immortality thing... she brings him a coat and says something like "I know you can't catch cold, but take it to make me feel better." So he does and replies with a "I can catch cold, I just can't die from it"
*G* YAY! This makes me TRES happy! One of the reasons I've never been huge into Highlander sneezefic is that until now I assumed colds never happened. I've started a number of stories but never finished a single one. So YAY!!!!! This makes me happy! *plot bunnies start bouncing out from the woodwork*

But I'll send you a nice 'ol rambling e-mail about which ones to watch and which to, er, not. :-)

And I look forward to your email!

Date: 2003-07-11 07:20 am (UTC)Back in the prime of my youth (high school and undergrad) I could go for days without sleeping. My record is 3 and a half... but by the end of that half day I was getting dizzy and I walked into a wall as I went for the door and misjudged by two feet.
I can't do that anymore, though. Wish I could!!!
I feel as though I could get SO much more done in life if I didn't have to bother with sleeping. But I do get more now... I require something like 14 hours a night... but usually only get 7-8 when I push myself. And as I'm daylight challenged (side effect of being a computer geek) I'd much rather sleep through the day than the night. The night is so lovely, who would want to miss it? I usually start feeling sleepy when the sun rises :-) Warm... sleepy sun...
