This is the first time in many years I did not participate in the May Harry Potter fic-writing challenge. It was bittersweet, as I managed to get a heck of a lot of my own meme fics written, though. I managed to create a story in every month of the year, I wrote in a variety of fandoms, and I wrote more stories this year than last year. I also wrote commissioned stories for the first time ever, which was fun but stressful (people are paying money; I want to make them good!). I self-published a Strokes story collection (which includes several never-posted stories and is available both in print and in eBook), revamped the Strokes website, wrote a few new Strokes stories, and put together a bulletin board in my office just for Strokes. I'm pleased with the number of meme fills I managed, because I so enjoy writing those. I got my 10th (and hardest yet) win at NaNoWriMo. And I also created a Middle Earth-related AU with poly dwarves that I am really excited to write in more. In all, I had a great writing year, and I'm super proud of my many accomplishments. This was a great year for my writing exploits.

In 2016, my writing goals are:
  • I want to finish my 12 Fics in 12 Days project ON TIME this year and start another one at the end of the year.

  • I want to finish all commissioned stories.

  • I want to write more Strokes stories and work hard on the Road Trip story and/or the next collection.

  • I want to do another comment fic meme in April.

  • I want to post something on ROG again (it's been too long since my last fic there).

  • I want to update my website with fics written.

  • I want to update the 101 Moods fic series collection.

  • I want to clean my desk/writing area.

  • I want to write more of my HOE novel and/or my BDSM novel.

  • I want to get to 100 stories finished in a year.

I support the April meme. :)

I like that you have writing goals for the year. I think that's awesome.
