WTF (rant & apology)

tarotgalJust spoke with the company that has had my laptop for 2 weeks now. There is a "significant delay" in ordering the new fan and it won't get here for another week at least. ARGH! What the hell am I supposed to do without my laptop for 3 weeks? The guy on the phone (who was impossible to get mad at because he had a glorious Irish accent and said things like "okie doke!") said he would waive he labor fee, which I was going to ask them to do anyway. So that's good. But, still, 3 weeks (minumum) without my computer? ARGH!
So this means I won't be able to do the graphics like I normally do for the holiday stories until I get the laptop back, because all my image software and website editing software is on that computer. I'll post the stories to my LJ and then take care of the graphics and webpage updates once I get the ability to do so back. I'm sorry about this!
