It's April, which means it's once again time for my annual commentfic meme!

Directions:

1. Post prompts. Any fandom (original fic allowed as well) and any pairing, as long as there is potential sneezing involved character. There is no limit to how many prompts you can post.
2. Please warn for anything current that might be potentially spoilery!
3. Prompt posting will be open while there's interest, most likely until this time next year
4. Reply to any prompts you like with art/drabbles/ficlets/fics in parts/links to fics in your blog. The entry must not be friends-locked.
5. Please warn for anything that might be a trigger including something an emetophobe like me might have a problem with.
6. Prompts can have as many fills as people feel like writing. Just because one person has filled a prompt doesn't mean you can't write for that prompt as well. Different spins on the same thing are absolutely welcome!
7. There will be no deadline for fic responses. If you see a prompt you like and want to write it, go ahead!
8. There's no limit to how many you can write either. WRITE THEM ALL!
9. Please feel free to pimp this on any communities and forums you think would be interested in this.
10. You are allowed to repost prompts from previous or other memes. If the prompt belongs to someone else, just give them credit. You're also more than welcome to reprompt your own!

Dean sneezes a bunch in the shower and right after he gets out. Can be a regular occurrence or because he’s got a cold or something. If he catches a flurry of post-shower sneezes in a towel that would be THE best.

Sam and Dean are recuperating at Jody's house after a rough hunt, getting some much needed TLC. Jody has a cat or two in the house that's setting off Dean's allergies, but she doesn't know he's allergic, and he doesn't want to tell her because he doesn't want to put her out in any way.

SPN. Sam and Dean both have colds. Cas has never seen either of them sneeze before, and he is fascinated. He sits there and makes observations (either aloud or to himself) about the boys' sneezing...their individual sneezing patterns, which brother is sneezing more/less than the other, who is stuffier/needs more tissues, whose sneeze is louder/softer than the other...etc.

Another 'Cas is fascinated by sneezes' prompt. Cas knows Dean is allergic to cats, but he's never seen him have a reaction, and he's dying to know what this is like for him, and exactly how his allergy affects him. Dean reluctantly shows him one day. Cas watches Dean's allergic reaction evolve with great anticipation and intrigue.

(Again, feel free to make this a Sam thing instead, if you'd rather)

Every time Erestor falls ill, he tends to ignore that and keeps working anyway (which might result in everyone catching what the advisor is suffering from). It needs more than just a simple cold to separate Erestor from his desk, for this is a hard job even for the most skilled healer in Imladris. Every autumn, it is up to Elrond to take care of the grumpy workaholic and prevent further damage.

What happens when Elrond gets sick just before an important council? Will he brave it out? And will Erestor ignore the elven lord's misery or make up for the many times Elrond took care of him? As we know, healers make the worst patients...

Sam runs hot generally, but when he’s sick, he freezes. The kitchen’s the only place in the bunker that feels warm enough for him (plus there’s the added bonus that Dean hangs out there) so Sam camps out at the table in socks and sweatpants while Dean rustles him up some soup.

Another sweatpants-based prompt, I guess.

Dean’s got a cold. Sam’s reading in the bunker library. Dean keeps passing through every so often (looking for something, reshelving a book, bringing Sam lunch), and every time Sam sees him, he’s wearing another layer of clothing. Maybe at first it’s just the dead guy robe over a t-shirt and some boxers. Then the next time there are sweatpants. Then socks. Then a henley. Then a sweatshirt. Finally Sam’s like, just get into bed, you chilly idiot.

Sam is cursed with a horrendous head cold. And, since it’s magic: the fever is higher, his sneezes are more frequent and stronger, he’s kitteny weak, and Dean is 100x more worried.

Thranduil has a cold and he doesn't want to admit his illness. Elven kings are not supposed to show any weakness, especially not in front of others (let alone dwarves). But elven colds are harsh, he won't be able to suppress his sneezes forever...

Yeah, it's basically a big group chat with multiple sub-channels for specific topics. I figured it would be fun to make one for our sort of fans, to have more realtime discussions and stuff. My fandom life was feeling kind of fractured lately, but I belong to another couple of Discord servers and it's been a fun way to get to interact with people!
