Judging on quotes from actors and those behind the scenes, this movie is going to hit a total home-run in the emotional, character development sector and leave me a weeping wreck as the final credits roll.
As for the Aragorn/Legolas bit there, I really have to wonder whose idea it is to keep putting these little scenes between these two. I mean, that pic isn't even being subtle about it...especially after the 'You're late' stuff from TTT. I'm dying to know where Gimli is during this exchange. Maybe he and Aragorn have come to an understanding and have agreed to just share the Elf!

NOT subtle! *G* I mean, it's not even his shoulder it's his neck for goodness sakes! Something between a comforting pet and a massaging squeeze. Oh.. but I LOVE that picture *G*
And I was just watching that "you're late" scene a few days ago (I threw it into my most recent Aragorn video which is so terrible I'm ashamed of it- but my software died and the song editing is crappy and... *hangs head*) but Aragorn's smile at Legolas is just SO adorably heartwarming it kills me. *snuggles the ranger*
As for the Frodo/Sam pic, I nearly burst into tears when I saw that pic for the first time, truly. I'm definitely developing a huge favoritism towards Samwise(though I'm still sort of in denial about the getting married and having several handfuls of kids) But they have SUCH a sweet friendship, and I just know I'm going to be scared to death for Frodo during the spider scene... not to mention the "get rid of the ring?" scene. I'm preparing for LOTS of tears. But at least I know Sam will be there to comfort and hold him *G* I just hope my childhood "Frodo losing a finger fear" doesn't give me nightmares afterwards.
