Thought I'd just post a link... I'm actually thinking of sending a letter to WB... I really don't think it's possible to have GoF without all of the really huge key scenes (listed in the letter) Maybe they can do it in 2.5 hours... but I don't want them cutting those important scenes.
I have had a terrible feeling that it's going to start up on their way to Hogwarts and we'll get a "Hey, remember last week at the Quidditch World Cup? Remember those death eaters? Boy, that was scary wasn't it?"
I don't care if they do make it 2.5 hours but if they cut one of the key scenes at all (like one of the tasks or his long duel with Voldy) I'll be quite depressed.
Anyhoo... if anyone feels more motivated than me, here's the site petitioning for a longer version of the movie and to retain the beauty of the book- http://www.savegof.com/

Date: 2003-09-05 06:46 am (UTC)I have been so impressed with Kloves and how he has been able to tell the story that Rowling wrote very accurately through the movies of SS and CoS. Not completely, of course, but keeping very much the whole idea of the books. I don't want to see that end with GoF. So here's hoping that this petition does get noticed!
PS - Feel better!
