Some observations
Sep. 8th, 2003 11:41 pmARG! LJ ate my first post! GROWL! I'm mad at it now! Twas darn long, too.
*sigh* OK, so I spent an hour at the health center again today and got nothing constructive out of it. But it was a good day for observations so I thought I'd share.
As I was filling out paperwork in the waiting area, one of the guys in the room was called back by one of the nurses. I think his name was something like Andrew, but I'll go with that even if it wasn't. I didn't get a good look at him at all, but brown hair and cute from the split second I did get to see him. So he starts to stand up and turn to go back and sneezes. Right there, halfway bent in half and halfway turned. And it was LOVELY! A nice rich sound, not too wet, not too loud. "Hah-Chuyshhhhh!" though my spelling really doesn't do it justice. His back was turned to me (DOH!) as he sneezed. I looked up immediately to try and get a better look as he lifted his hand to rub his nose but I didn't see him. I must have had a terrible look on my face though, something between me trying to push away a smile and trying to inspect him. And I quickly changed my expression to one of sympathy though I don't think he saw that over the first. I felt terrible. The nurse blessed him and he sniffled as he headed to the back area with her.
I LOVED it though... apart from feeling bad for not giving him a sympathetic look at first. I was just so shocked at his handsomeness *G* And it was perfect! I was SO in heaven! LOL
Nurse: Andrew?
Andrew: HahChuyshhhhh!
Why can't more guys answer to their names with sneezes?!!!
As I was waiting at the pharmacy, I heard another sneezes, probably female, very soft and in the distance. "ashhoo!"
Then later I was eating dinner (Chinese takeout- YUMMY!) at boyfriend's place. He was in the bathroom or kitchen or something and I was in the living room starting to eat. When out in the stairway outside his apartment a guy sneezed. "Hushhhhh!" It wasn't particularly loud as a sneeze, either, but the sound was amplified in the empty stairway and echoed slightly. It was VERY cute.
I actually said the word 'sneezes' out loud tonight in front of boyfriend. I was very proud... probably on a high from a day of hearing nice sneezes LOL! When we were finishing eating, the movie Dogma started up and we were talking a little bit about it (lovely use of hockey players, LOL) I tend to classify movies on many, many levels, but good sneezes in movies/shows have a classification in the back of my mind all their own. When I think of Waking Ned Devine, for example, first thing I think is "Cute Irish guy sneezes multiple times from hayfever" then the next things I think are "naked old guy, wonderful acting, compelling story, ending that always makes me cry, etc." So I was like "Oh, Dogma! Matt Damon sneezes once in this." LOL It was very bold of me. I felt corageous! I can barely say the word out loud when I'm alone... ok... I can't... just tried, LOL Boyfriend didn't really respond. Then again, he tends to only respond to about 10% of what I actually say, making me actually talk more than I randomly would in order to get some response from him. It's like talking to a brick wall 90% of the time. *sigh*
Anyway... I'm thinking of training boyfriend to sneeze on command when I call his name now, LOL! It's out anniversary for 19 more minutes... maybe I should ask him now... LOL...

Date: 2003-09-11 04:27 am (UTC)I actually told my boyfriend about my fetish the night of our first date. So it's been nice, feeling like I'm not hiding that from him and all. It was more difficult telling the other boyfriend I had halfway through our relationship "Oh, by the way, I run a website about this fetish I have..."
He knows about a lot of my obsessions and is oddly supportive of more of them than I would have imagined. Though he won't read any of my stories, even though he sometimes asks me to send him the links so he can.

Date: 2003-09-11 05:35 am (UTC)Yes :-) I certainly did get it- and read the similar entry in your journal.
I think a crossover between the two would be very interesting to read. Ich's logic would be very interesting applied to the Blair Witch. I'd certainly enjoy reading it! I think it might take a little while to merge the two into an engaging plot... the success of the Blair Witch movie was the feeling envoked from the style of it... which is a very different style from Sleepy Hollow. But at the same time, both work with very dark elements and feed off of fear/terror. So I think it could work very well in the end. You seem to know both fandoms very well- certainly well enough for a fic like the one you propose. I say run with it and see how you like it! :-)
