Sorry for being behind on comments/replying/reading. Most of my energy has been concentrated lately towards writing, sleeping, and drinking (think wash, rinse, repeat) Mostly sleeping and drinking, though. And trying to wake up in time to take more meds at the right times.
But many thanks for all the lovely comments *G* I'll try to tackle them tonight but at this rate I might fall asleep in front of comp again. So I'm only promising by tomorrow... But thank you all *hugs*

Date: 2003-09-10 02:27 am (UTC)But how ARE you? Feeling better? Hope so! Being sick is awful - but some of your comments about it were just plain hysterical. :D At least you're feeling well enough to joke - not a bad sign, lol.
Argh - I've gotta go ice my arm before it tightens up on me, but I hope you're feeling better. And your luck, all around, takes a turn for the better - you seem to have gotten the short end of the stick on a few things, lately, which does rather suck. :)
Mmmm, sleep...g'night hun!

I an feeling a lot better... not 100% yet... but a lot better comparitively. I'm off the medication which made me sick to my stomach which is a huge improvement in and of itself! But I guess when things get really bad, at least I can be assured that sometime they HAVE to get a little better... right? :-)

Date: 2003-09-15 01:34 am (UTC)Thanks hun - Opening week went as well as could be expected. The team is so young; more than half have never been on varsity before and they're rather shell shocked at the moment. But at least we have a few wins under our belt (odd expression...), even if not all.
LoL! Center (middle hitter)? Ah! - THE best position! No, I'm not biased.:) There's nothing quite so nice as smacking that faux leather lined ball over the net and hearing the satisfying thwack as it hits the floor - my drug...at least during THIS sports season.:D
But, again - I'm glad things are looking up. 'bout time, no? :D

Date: 2003-09-15 01:42 am (UTC)I'm just about the most pessimistic realist in the world LOL But I certainly do enjoy when things go well... I just never expect them to :-)
And LOL-about the meds' side effects being worse than the sympoms they are relieving. I was actually watching tv the other day and there was a commercial for a sleep aid pill where two possible side effects were sleepiness and fatigue. Really? Isn't that, um, rather the point?
And glad the season started off well for you!! YAY! Congrats on the wins! Wow, especially with such a mix of experience on the team. That can certainly be tricky.
