I just watched an entire 35-minute interview/show with the four Weiss seiyuu... not dubbed or subtitled. NO bloody idea what the heck they were saying the whole time, apart from character names. LOL But wow... talk about adorable men! And Koyasu Takehito in a slimming sweater with a high neck- I could have died. And Yuuki Hiro in shorts as he does a reading. Awwwwwww could have tackled him with hugs! Way too adorable!! NO idea what they were saying.
Oh, but Koyasu Takehito's voice... can I hire him to just sit on my bed and talk about nothing in particular? *sigh*
What adorable guys! They have such beautifully serious expressions when they're talking about their characters and story arcs and things. It's really lovely. And when they laugh! Awwwwwwwwwww!!! Looks like they have such fun doing the voices together! Okay, so they probably want to make it look like fun when there are cameras in their faces. But they really are adorable.
Wish I could actually understand them :-)

Date: 2003-09-14 01:22 pm (UTC)I am jealous of Yuuki Hiro's legs. Just had to say that. And he flutters. It's just too cute!
So, Koyasu is in your seiyuu harem? ;) Have you heard him in any of his dork roles yet? I'm amazed at the way he can go from dead sexy to a complete and total dork.

Date: 2003-09-14 05:13 pm (UTC)Awwwww, might I ask where the fansubs with the interviews at the end are from? I'd love to see them in an interview which I can understand apart from the names.... :-) And that sounds MUCH too adorable not to want to see
Nope, no dork roles yet LOL Maybe that's why he's still in my sexy seiyuu harem? LOL

Date: 2003-09-15 02:11 am (UTC)I don't remember which of the fansubbers had popped the seiyuu chats at the end (raw...fun to watch but I couldn't understand 3/4 of what they were saying), but the commercial release DVDs #2-5 put them on at the end, with subtitles (for which I was most grateful). If you don't have access to them, I can see if I can dub the chats off to VHS...
Actually, Sakano-san from Gravi is pretty high up there on the dork scale. If you can take him there and still have him in your harem, you'll be fine. :)

Non-subbed voice actor talk
Date: 2003-09-16 05:41 am (UTC)I totally get a kick out of watching voice actors talk to each other and not having the faintest clue what they're saying. I have DVD copies of the complete series of Yu Yu Hakusho (my favorite anime, with my favorite anime bishounen, Kurama!), and after the end of the last episode, the four main voice actors sit around a table and talk. I love how you get glimpses into the real personality underlying the voice, and it's a blast watching them occasionally slip in and out of character. It takes a bit of getting used to, especially when your favorite bishie is voiced by a woman, even when she is as talented as Ogata Megumi! Is it wrong that I still find Kurama's voice really sexy?...oh well! Not like I can do anything about that.

LOL! Well, yes, you're completely right about that. He was a little difficult to take at times... though I generally feel like that about the whole series(sometimes I just didn't want the humor in between very decent angst) And constant Shuchi butt-kissing was a little difficult to take... though I know how hard it is to keep creative artists creating... so I can sort of understand.
But in short, yeah, he's still in my harem. LOL He wasn't all bad... and voices are voices... *G*
Re: Non-subbed voice actor talk
Date: 2003-09-16 05:47 pm (UTC)I must try to get my hands on a copy of this YYH seiyuu chat, because in addition to Ogata Megumi, Sasaki Nozomu is also just adorable (on the Rurouni Kenshin:Reflection DVD they have seiyuu interviews at the end and he looks like a teddy bear and his voice has matured in to something that is yummy to hear...and speaking of female seiyuu who voice men and have damned sexy voices when they do, Suzukaze Mayo had me boggling when I watched her interviews because she only slipped in to her Kenshin voice once or twice and sounds nothing like him the rest of the time...)!
And I agree about loving to watch the seiyuu interact, especially in something where they mesh as well as they do in Weiss Kreuz. It's one thing to see the characters interacting because it's all scripted, but to just see the seiyuu joke around and just be themselves is much fun.

Date: 2003-09-16 05:50 pm (UTC)Thank you so very very much for indulging my pathetic fangirlishness (Yuuki in shorts and Koyasu in a high-necked sweater...yum!).

Date: 2003-09-16 05:59 pm (UTC)The Filename itself is: Weiss Kreuz Gluhen - 00(raw) - seiyuu interview.avi
The Title (which is the thing that shows up first in the Kazaa listing) is something like: Weiss Kreuz Gluhen - 00 interview
Ug... this is really silly. It's offline so much (It took me about 3 months before it was completed) Drop me a private e-mail and I'll see what I can do about it, okay?
And it's 248,273KB (sometimes Kazaa adds a KB or two in the completion process as opposed to what's in the listing, but it'll be something close to that size)

Date: 2003-09-16 08:49 pm (UTC)NP! Always glad to fanpush. There was a box set of the five DVDs just released if you don't have any of them yet (and FYI, deepdiscountdvd.com has the set for $60 instead of the $100 list price...yes, there is a reason why I own a t-shirt with the slogan "Anime: drugs would be cheaper" *grin*).
I'll have to get you some of the Sakano tracks from the Gravi Sound Story #1. I still don't know exactly what they're saying most of the time, but I understand enough to get the plot. And yes, the humor in the middle of the angst in the series did get a little overboard at times ("I'm in the middle of having my heart stomped on! Why are you bouncing off the walls like that?!?"), but in general, I thought it was quite lovely. Another one that sends me in to wibble-mode is the one Angel Sanctuary drama CD that I have. Lots of nice voices there (Koyasu, Ueda Yuji (Kakyou from X TV), Hayami Shou...mmmmm), and none of the humorous stuff. I haven't listened to it since I started taking Japanese, so I don't know if I'd be able to understand any of it, but just hearing the voices was enough to make me a very happy iffer. If I can find it, I'll pop some of the yumminess of that up for you as well.
