Dad called and woke me up this afternoon... UG! Damit. He should have listened to Mom. I wasn't awake. But looks like my family survived the hurricane(tropical storm, now since they've downgraded it) just fine. They have no water, which is all right since, again, my parents are paranoid and bought a ton and filled up the bathtub and all :-) Water isn't supposed to be back in their area for another 48-72 hours. Erg... well... I was planning on visiting them... but I actually sort of like flushing toilets. I know, it's a weird taste, but ah well. Maybe I'll visit when it goes back on.
I hear a lot of places are flooding pretty badly and that some trees fell on garages in the neighborhood. And about 30 minutes from our house there's no water OR electricity (apparently the water plant got struck and lost all electricity) so my parents aren't doing too badly, all things considered. And I hope people on the coast are recovering all right.
I made a short Queer as Folk vid last night... it's Em doing his naked maid thing. It's a fun, short little music vid *G* I'm thinking I might try and do a bunch from the whole soundtrack of Naked Boys singing to that show... might be a fun challenge.
And I've been experimenting with changing music for opening credits lately. I can't do visual manipulations on the images with my software, but it's actually interesting putting a new theme song in and seeing how well they match the images! Okay, yes, I have no life LOL
Okay... back off to try and sleep another hour or two... though must wake by four so I can tape another horrible episode of Highlander in season 6. I can't believe Spike TV is reshowing horrible Highlander episodes like Black Tower and all the other butt-kicking-chic ones but is NOT showing Indiscressions(aka The Methos & Joe show). That's INSANE! They cut out Til Death also which is a FANTASTIC episode! I don't get those people. Stupid network for men!
