South Park tonight

tarotgalSouth Park's new episode tonight was about the current trend of gay shows and metrosexuals. It was interesting. Like most things, they blew it out of proportion to make it funny, then gave it an unrealistic twist (I won't spoil it for anyone, but it's along the line of Robot Monkeys in Great Expectations). It was interesting. Thing is, the Queer Eye for the Straight Guy guys AREN'T trying to change guys... just get them to clean their toilets and not look trashy all the time. They aren't all fem afterwards... they just don't live in dumps. I swear, there must be a half inch of dirt covering half of my boyfriend's apartment. And I'm terrified of touching his shower curtain.
Anyway... it was an interesting epsiode. I laughed, I got angry, I laughed some more. It was just blow out of porportion so much it's hard to get too angry(unlike making fun of realistic things), and I think that's where the brilliance of South Park comes from. But twas interesting.
