PotC... I've never seen a difinitive date for the movie... but some places say 1746... others say 1779... others say earlier or in between. But yes, that was 1700's indeed. It's still in the colonial days though, for certain.

And I do agree, it's hard to write and research under a deadline. I love researching and being inspired by it, though. Thinking up ways of involving historical characters, etc.

As for plot bunnies... I've been thinking. I know I'm always inspired to write sneezefic for the threesome at the spot in the 2nd movie where it's snowing on them and Harry & Ron look so angsty and worried and cold. Awwww! Just screams "write a fic about me!"
But I've been trying to think of some other ideas to suggest... I'll try and get some bunnies together and will bombard your e-mail, okay? :-)
