Leaving in a frozen car
Nov. 25th, 2003 01:40 amJust tried to go to Walmart... my car door was frozen shut- the lock was frozen. I think it was the rainstorm-freezing combination. It's 31degrees out now. So took boyfriend's car, which meant sitting for 20 minutes in the cold, waiting for the inside to defrost and not refreeze. But went... NO cat carriers. NONE! GAH! I need a bigger one for my cat. But no such luck :-(
Assuming my door opens later today, I think I'm going to take off and drive to my parents'. I'm getting NO work done on the thesis at the comp. I think I need a change of scene and to write it long-hand. It's the only thing I can think to do at this point.
ANyway... I'm tired... I go lie down now... sleep is good... but anyway, just thought I'd mention that I'll probably be taking off tomorrow and will be gone for most of the week- hopefully back Sat. So, no one do anything extraordinarily profound or brilliant while I'm gone, okay? :-)
Oh, and I finished first draft of next chapter of Too Many Cooks... but will not be able to post it until my return... assuming I leave tomorrow. Sorry! There needs to be more sneezing. LOL Funny, my problem's usually the opposite. But I really got into the plot too much with this... needs more sneezing IMHO :-) So sorry for the wait!
