I just watched Zetsuai 1989... now that is one absolutely wonderful screwed up love story! *sigh* But passionate... and packed with emotion... and desire... and unrequited love... and confusion... and lust... ohhh and yummy men! And the number of times the characters got sick and took care of each other... or were out in the rain... DAMN! They're making it too easy on me!!! But, really, lots of angst, lots of hurt, and a truck-load of passion. Not to mention a cute soccer player in shorts and another pretty blonde boy *G*

Wow... was worth it just to hear Takehito Koyasu sneeze- ohhh with SUCH a build-up, too!!! *VBG* Okay, so where was that sneezey!Aya fic I started?
Not to say that Hayami Shou didn't do sick badly, of course. But mmmmm... *G* It's one of those days, you know? *EG* Takehito Koyasu sneezing... YUM!

What a beautiful anime... so much angst... and SO much love... ah... just Koji's helpless look when he wants Izumi to win his soccer match *sigh* Definitely Yaoi as it should be! Not that I need to get addicted to another series... and Bronze seems to be escaping my reach online anyway, so maybe it's for the best right now. I have enough mangas on the list to purchase! :-)

The love story gets even more screwed up in Bronze. And it's supposedly even worse in the manga (I'm missing the entire middle section so I don't know for sure, but what I've seen is...dysfunctional is too mild a term for it). But it's so beautiful in so many ways.

I don't know if I've seen Bronze anywhere in digital format, but if you can't manage to get it anywhere else, Soyokaze Fansub Distro (http://www.soyokazefans.com/) has it on VHS and I've had quite good luck ordering from them in the past. Not as much of the getting sick and taking care of each other, but still tons of h/c and angst and trauma. Lovely!

*G* Yep... I'm an open book when it comes to that kind of thing. Give me cute bishies in the rain and I'll react the same every time!
I could have used more "comfort" than there was to justify calling it h/c... but it certainly was yummy anyway. Sometimes soft and caring, other times passionate and heart-wrenching.

I have read summaries about what happens in Bronze and the mangas, so I know what I'm missing, in a general, summary sort of way. And yes, it indeed sounds much more screwed up. But at least the characters are able to acknowledge their feelings for each other. Izumi just looks so stunned at the end of Zetsuai.

Thanks for the link, though. There's so much out there, that it's nice to be informed of reliable places to get yummy stuff :-)

It was intended to be a short fic... but it just isn't flowing properly for anything right now... but yes, I agree, can never get too many sneezey!Aya stories!
