It's The Flame to End All Flames. Wow... the time and effort the guy must have put into this work of beauty...! LMAO!
And then there's http://www.godhatesfigs.com which a friend of boyfriend's recently pointed out to us. I was in shock! I had no clue the Christian god was so hateful towards fruit! First the apple... but that was Old Testament God, who smites everything, so it's partially understandable. But we're talking Jesus here! Gets mad at a fig tree because it does not have fruit because it's not in season and kills the tree in anger! That's just WRONG! Poor tree! That's just a terrible thing to do. (Can you tell I have a thing for trees?)
Anyway, the site is WAY too funny, as are the fake "religious tracts" which are so close to the real thing you can't help but laugh. Ah... it makes fun of things on so many levels, you know? Gotta love it.

Date: 2003-12-13 12:23 am (UTC)I was thinking- ok, I Might understand if it was the season for figs and there wasn't any, but it wasn't even the season. Poor tree :( Just because Jesus was cranky and wanted a fig Right Then. :P
lol! I enjoy religious humour. Probably has partly to do with being a Religion major and a previous Seminary student (programme wasn't right for me- so I stopped part-way through).
