Thesis is evil... gah... scared about defending... I'm NOT good at thinking on my feet and I've for an hour and a half long Q&A section after my 40min presentation... *TERRIFIED SHUDDER*

I'm probably not going to be on journal the rest of this week... because I'm working on getting thesis finished... and because I won't get to see ROTK until at LEAST Friday (possibly Sat at this rate) so I don't want to hear how yummy it was and get even more annoyed than I am already about not being able to see it Tuesday night as I'd normally do. Growl!

I can't even do Christmas shopping until the 20th... which leaves, like, NOTHING. I'm so depressed. And annoyed. GRRR! I hate this damn thesis anyway. Boyfriend doesn't seem to understand and keeps ranting about his problems... and I'm so far behind that I'm close to a mental breakdown any second now.

Anyhoo... just FYI. Life sucks. Whoo! :-)

Oh TG...my thoughts and prayers are with you! I'm sure you'll do wonderful; if your writing is any indication, you'll be better than wonderful!
As for ROTK, I don't get to see it 'til January 1st when Dani comes up for my wedding [we have a pact and all]...so I can relate...growl indeed!
Men suck. Its just in their nature.

Problem is... I can write just fine... it's the thinking quickly and talking out loud thing that NEVER works well with me. So that's why I'm worried. I don't do well with interviews and stuff. Ah well. I got myself into this mess, and it'll happen whether I want it to or not. Just wish I could get a nice rest in before it happens! lol

But thanks for thinking of me... and gah! That's certainly a long time! But in a way I'm kind of glad to wait the other time. I know it's going to be emotional and I know it's going to be fantastic whenever I see it. I didn't even see the first one in theaters... and I watched the second one illegally on my comp before seeing it in theaters... so I can look forward to my frist (last?) LotR movie seen first in theaters. And if they make the Hobbit, I'll just go see that one on opening night and I'll have the whole spectrum covered :-)
But it's kind of nice to wait. Like I avoid the hype and just go to enjoy it, not to be the first one to see the movie, you know? I'm going to love it whenever I see it, I'm sure. So this is just like waiting until I can enjoy it properly. And makes it last a little longer. The wait will just make it feel even better, right?!

I dunno... I like having physical tickets days before the movie. So I can take them out and hold them and feel all excited by the "First Showing" or "Midnight primiere" or just "Advance sale" words on them :-) Makes it feel more real, I guess.

Thanks... I hope it's over soon. Scariest thing I've ever done, I'll tell you that! :-)

I'm the total opposite, I can present anything! But reports and writing them-*shudder* Lemme tell you, the audience wont bite. If you were watching a presentation, and it didn't go well, would you boo? Of course not! The audience isn't going to do anything bad to you, so take a deep breath and put urself in the zone. Before you know it, it's over! lol.

Don't worry too much about it...I'm positive you'll do great!

As for ROTK, I really hope you get to see it on Friday, so you can enjoy it with really enthusiastic crowds of like-minded people seeing it for the first time. It'll be SO worth it! The audience I was in Tuesday night cheered and clapped at about a dozen different places...but I shall reserve further thoughts for my own LJ under a spoiler cut for the time being :)
