Lots of Stories

I'm feeling a little overwhelmed by my stories lately... there are just so many of them and not enough hours in a day to write! :-) I started yet another one yesterday. I told myself again and again not to start another until I had at least finished my last Obi-Wan fic (Exposed Escort). But then Sirius started sneezing, and Harry and I just gave in *sigh* It's coming along nicely, though. Of course James is still stuck in the middle of the next chapter of Under House Arrest. Not to mention that challenge/request about Snape taking care of Sirius the summer after book 4 which has been SO tempting and I've been writing that one mentally for weeks now. *sigh* I am truly enjoying the writing... it's just be nice to finish one!

Website's down

Getting a little impatient with buildpage, which hosts my webpage. It's down for an upgrade and has been that way for nearly a week now. They say to be patient, but it's starting to get a bit annoying and I'm quite sick of searching around for another free host. However, I know I need to since buildpage kicked all my wavs and movies off (smart on their part, bad for me) I know we're no longer in the great glory days of free space, but I would really just love one place that lets me host my own site without many advertisements and with completely unlimited space.
I'd run my pages off my own server but my bills would be staggering and if I move away at the end of the summer, I'll just run into the problem all over agian. *sigh* Why must this be so difficult? :-)

Favorite Couples

It occured to me recently that I have liked *a lot* of shows/books over the years with a plethera of characters, but very rarely do I like particular couples.
My favorite fictional parings of all time... at least today:

1. Remus Lupin & Sirius Black- Harry Potter
2. Duncan MacLeod & Tessa Noel- Highlander (which only slightly outranks Duncan and Amanda)
3. Obi-Wan Kenobi & Qui-Gon Jinn- Star Wars
4. Virgina Lewis & Wolf Wolfinson- The Tenth Kingdom
5. King Arthur & Queen Guinevere- Camelot legends in general
6. Danielle & Prince Henry- Ever After

I'm sure there must be more, and I can think of a few I like (though aren't *quite* up to the level I hold these at)

I've actually always wanted to write a sneezing fic based on the animated version of Anastasia... with Dmitri catching a cold. Cute sexy Russian boy (voiced by John Cusack) with the sniffles... I think they have a pretty cute relationship. He actually mentions having an allergy to dogs and then precedes NOT to sneeze at all even though the dog hangs around him all the time. Grrr! Something must be done about that! :-) Ah, maybe when I don't have so many fics to finish!

New story

As IF I don't have enough stories going on... I decided to start one tonight- a very short one with Black and Lupin- to celebrate Lupercalia on Saturday. I'm hoping to have it done on or by Sat. Just a short ficlette. I might work a few sneezes in for fun. We'll see when I'm more than 2 sentences into it, heehee
