tarotgal: (Sneezes)
Here's another very random thought LOL
If I were a lesbian, I think I would totally want Kate Beckinsale. She's just SO sweet and adorable! Maybe it's the accent thing or her quiet way of speaking, but she seems SO charming. And her honesty and sweetness in interviews is very refreshing. And adorable. Totally my type. Apart from being a woman. Damn. If only I were bi. Then again, I don't do well with having a lot of choices so maybe it's all for the best in the end.

And great. Now I've got Stephen Lynch's "If I were Gay" song stuck in my head. Gotta go dig up that CD too now... Mmmmmm... alter boy song... *slaps self* I think I'm sufficiently screwed up enough to get back to finishing the horribly graphic Obi-Torture scenes now. LOL

Hey, I know Liberty Belle asked this at one point on her forum, but doens't hurt to ask again as I don't recall the answer(s). Is it "wrong" to want desperately to see a priest sneeze? I mean, when you personally connect it with something sexual like I do and all? I've been having very evil thoughts of seeing Heath Ledger in his preist garb from 'The Order' with a very bad sneezing attack. I know, he's an actor, not a real priest, but it's still an image that keeps popping into my head. Quiet, handome, regal priest and all that, bowing down to sneezes... YUM

This post is just getting worse and worse, isn't it? I think I'll stop before I can do more damage :-)

Tired

I meant to do SO much today... funny how nothing happens when I need to do everything, huh?

I went to Walmart again tonight around 2am... third night in a row... I bet we're keeping all the night-shift people amused by our frequent visits. I bought a shirt this time(and some cheese and bread and the What About Bob DVD for $8). The shirt is orange (yick!) but has Pooh on the front wearing a Vampire cape, surrounded by bats with the word SPOOHKY beneath. I couldn't resist. TOO bloody cute. I love Vampires. And I love Pooh. I used to want to marry Christopher Robin. And I have an Eeyore collection the size of... I dunno, but it's huge. I love Eeyore. He's such a pessimist :-)

Anyhoo... I've been watching the X tv anime series(opposed tothe OAV which apparently sucks in comparison). I've been waiting for a few days to get to episode 6... but 1-5 have been incredible. In totally hooked. It's gorgeous! And the characters... I'm just eating them up! OK, and the boy-on-boy hurt/comfort doesn't hurt anything either! And there's a monk who reminds me a LOT of Hige from Wolf's Rain.
Oohhhh CUTE boys! Magic, good vs. evil, saving the world, lots of cute boys, lots of pain and angst, and a spirit dog/wolf. Yeah. My kind of series! And such beautiful animation! *sigh* Nice series. *waits anxiously for episode 6 to finish downloading*

I think I might take off for a few days and go visit my parents. It'll be my first solo drive there and back again. I'm going to try and time it so I'm not driving in the storm, though. As much fun as driving in the middle of a hurricane looked in that episode of The Dead Zone, I don't really think it's my thing :-)
I need to decide whether to take my cat or have boyfriend look after him. It takes my cat 2 days to readjust to my parents' cats... so if I only stay 3 it won't really be worth it. But he's been So needy and playful lately... and he never wants to come home afterwards. Man... he needs a playmate. I saw a stray tonight in the Walmart parking lot. A cute little kitten (probably around 7 or 8 months old) and I was SO tempted to take him in. Boyfriend was all for the idea. But I'm certainly not going to try and pick up a strange cat that might have rabies or feline lukemia or who knows what else and take it into my house to infect my current cat. A friend of ours just finished getting Rabies shots because she tried to help a poor stray kitty. Didn't sound like fun. But if I hadn't had a kitty already I probably would have tried to take it in in a heartbeat. That's how I got my kitty after all. A poor stray huddled between the wall and door to my building in a thunderstorm. And now he's the king of my apartment. He's asleep in my closet on top of my pile of dirty laundry as we speak. He always sleeps on my dirty clothes- they smell like me. Yick. But he seems to like it. Go fig.
tarotgal: (Remus/Sirius)
I finished another Remus/Sirius sneezey story. But I think I'm going to wait on posting it. Might just put it up on my page. I haven't decided yet. It's really short and they're really young (second years). We'll see how I feel tomorrow. I'm DYING to finish this OC story I've been working on. It's been so long since I finished a story that wasn't fanfic. I've started loads... just haven't finished any of them.

And I would really like to finish this Obi-Torture series... but I'm only about 4 pages into the second sequel and there's a ways to go yet. Poor Obi-Love...

Though speaking of Obi... Ewan McGreggor's movie Velvet Goldmine's going to be on Bravo this Saturday! YAY!!!!! I love that movie!

Oohhhh!

Oohhhhhh! Happy Happy Happy!!!!!

Movie I've been DYING to see is going to be on A&E and I didn't miss it yet! (I've had a tendency to forget when things are on, recently) Valentine Pelka's in it... ohhhhhhhh I ADORE Valentine!!!!! Something about that deep, commanding voice... And the previews I've seen look really good to me. Have I mentioned I love Lord Byron? And I love his relationship with the Shelleys especially. If I'd been alive back then I TOTALLY would have been in their harem. Especially if Percy looked and sounded anything like Valentine and Byron looked anything like Hugh Grant. *sigh* Okay, so I've seen mixed reviews. But I love the time period and Valentine can do NO wrong in my eyes. If all he does is stand there on screen for two hours I'd be overjoyed. If there's reciting poetry involved I'll curl up with convulsions probably, no matter how bad the rest of the movie is *G* Oh to be Mary... er... or a gay Lord Byron for that matter...
*thinks she will go pay a visit to her unfinished horsemen slash fics*

Oh I'm SO happy now. I'm glad I didn't go to sleep 10 minutes ago and stayed up to check random star's sechedules instead.

I need help finding a clip in Weiss Kreuz Gluhen... hey, question, are there any clip lists out there for WKG? I never figured I'd be needing one, but I'm driving myself crazy trying to find a certain scene that's hiding right now. And I figure maybe since there's a huge AMV movement...

OK. So the clip I want is one of Omi taking a good, hard look at the photo of the boys in the flower shop. I think there's a shorter bit of that in episode 10, but I REALLY thought he did that earlier... looking at it, lying it down upside-down... but I can't find that scene to save my life. Actually, now that I think about it, it's not in 10 at all, is it? UG! I thought it was one of the early eps... cannot find it! *goes crazy* I know most of you haven't seen the series... but for those who have... help?!

WKG Clip

Okay... I found one of them... it's not the one I was thinking of because the one I'm thinking of had him alone looking at the picture... but one is in episode 8... and I think I'm just going to use that because otherwise it's going to drive me crazy.

But if anyone does know of a clip list for Weiss Kreuz Gluhen, that would be spiffy :-)

You're a PANTSER! A pantser writes without
forethought to where the plot is going--sort of
by the seat of her pants method. Youre a free
spirited, creative person. You write with
passion about what inspires you at the moment,
and you probably have a strong voice. Dont
worry about writers block--youve a different
story. Youve got more story seeds than a hive
has bees. When you write, its in disjointed
segments. You may write sequentially or in
flashes of inspiration, where you connect all
your flashes later. People might say you
ramble a bit in your work. Your revision
process might take several passes, because you
really have to whip that first draft into a
more marketable shape. Youre novels either hit
it big or miss. Theres no in between. Readers
either love you, or hate you. Learn to channel
that creative energy into a masterpiece and
well be seeing your name on the NYT Lists!

Hrm... yeah.. that's about right. Maybe I have an idea in my head first... but yeah, it takes me where it wants to go.
Of course I've never actually FINISHED one of my novels... so maybe the problem really is I've got way too many plot bunnies to deal with. Er. Or I'm just lazy when it comes to my Robert and his friends *sigh* Poor babies. They'll never get published *sniffles*

On another note, earlier my LJ writing style was 52% fem. but I've written a few entries since. Ah well. Weirdness.
