I'm still in my apartment. I decided to take off Tuesday instead. That way I can stay longer and take my cat with me so he can visit his other kitty and puppy friends at his grandparent's house. Boyfriend was in my apartment today getting something for me and when I came home Mxwell(my kitty) ran right up and told me all about it. He's VERY talkative... and didn't like someone else being in the place... was very anxious. He has major separation anxiety... but then again, I miss my baby, too.
Anyway, so I'm here for the weekend. My testing didn't go smoothly and I've got a LOT of things to iron out. But it's for the better. My pilot user has run a number of studies and is in usability, too, so she was VERY helpful. I don't like bad comments, but hell, these were very helpful and I have the weekend to work on them :-) So that's a YAY I suppose.
Thanks again for the comments today- I haven't had a moment to reply yet, but will do so, soon. And I didn't mean to imply people here or on sneezefic, etc. aren't grateful, because you guys are incredible *hugs* It's just that in the main sneezing community I never get thanked for updates any more. I do get tons of "when are you going to post a new wav?" e-mails or an occasional "I love your sneezes and your site!" before they go on to say "but could you post more video clips?" It's just annoying. I actually have a list of reasons I cannot stand the sneeze fetish forum any more (no offense tma or the other admins who might read this) and it's saying a lot because I was the first forum admin for the community. But I just cannot stand the people and the dynamics... yeah, there's a whole list. Which is why I hide out over here, away from them. It's just nice to get thank you's once in a while for things other than stories- especially when I spend an hour converting video files and clipping them and resizing, etc. Not that I expect thank yous... it's just nice to hear :-) That's all. But you all are fantastic about that so those comments weren't directed to you at all *G*
I'm going to go lie down a little (I got 3 and a half hours of sleep last night and another hour during Highlander this afternoon) and then I think I might actually pull out the ol' Playstation 2 and play a little "Escape from Monkey Island" as I'm in a pirate mood! Bring on the grog, me 'earties! Yo ho!
