Car update
Aug. 25th, 2004 01:51 amA car update... I woke up after 2 hours of sleep to call the car insurance people about the break-in and damage. I felt horrible. Very not good. I probably should have just stayed awake instead of gone to bed. But I ended up falling halfway down the damn stairs. My tailbone is killing me and I've bruises everywhere. My hand still doesn't feel quite right. But I got to the pepto and got an ice pack on and called. Yay. Damn wooden stairs. Why my parents decided to take up the carpet is beyond me...
I informed them of the problem. I have a 0-deductable, which rocks my world. They sent in an order to a glass repair company and they're coming Wednesday between the hours of 8am and 5pm. LOL Worse than the cable company! But they're coming here so I don't even have to drive it. ANd it'll take an hour-an hour and a half to fix.
Mom bought me The Club today. Dad put it on my car without telling me. I don't know how to work it. He didn't bother telling me. This should be fun. Growl. I HATE when people mess with my stuff without telling me! Like when you have a computer problem and the person pushes you off the computer to fix it instead of trying to explain it so you understand what was wrong? I fricking hate that. I like to be the one to mess with my own things. At least then I learn. But I'll read through the directions a bunch of times and figure it out. I feel a little safer with it, at least.
Life has NOT been fun here today. My favorite aunt is coming to visit on Thursday, and then sometime this weekend another aunt and cousin are coming. So it'll be a full house. Sister has some mental problems and has been cleaning already clean rooms because she wants them perfect to impress the company. And in doing so, moves everything around where none of us can find it, takes pictures down without telling us, etc. And then gets mad when we get annoyed at her doing so without telling us first. I need to learn that change is okay. It is. I'm telling myself that. And I need to learn to keep my mouth shut. I can do that. I can. I did it most my life. Things are not happy here. *sigh* Hopefully things will be better tomorrow. At least I won't have to worry so much about the car. Yay window fixing people! :-)
