more with the sleepy
Jun. 19th, 2005 01:51 amThis working every day thing is really taking a toll on me. I *so* rely on weekends to catch up on sleep. And if I'd been writing this paper I'm typing as my boss dictates, it would have been finished DAYS ago. The slow pace is driving me crazy. But I suppose getting paid for it is some comfort. Plus I managed to redesign the whole website structure during the MANY long pauses.
So last night I spent about an hours toying with the idea of writing one of my Spike fics so that it was stuctured exactly like an actual show. With A, B, and C plotlines and all that. But as I was outlining it, I made it to beat 4 before I started to discover I was NOT going to make it. As lovely an idea as it was, and it would have been a challenge, there's no way I'd manage it. I'm thinking of still playing with it, but not quite as strict in form and structure. It's pretty early to tell.
