Dance of Joy!
Feb. 5th, 2008 03:38 pmSquee. Have I mentioned how much I enjoy being a fangirl?
While I was gone, issue #3 of the Angel Seaon 6 comic made its way from eBay to my house. I've already devoured it. I like Buffy Season 8 quite a lot, but it wasn't until issue #3 of Angel Season 6 that I started liking the season. It's fucking with the characters too much, even if I'm glad to see them back in some form. It's getting better, though, so I have hope for it yet.
There's also a new graphic novel BookRelay (kind of a spin-off of the BookCrossing site) that I'm becomming addicted to stalking. New manga/comics/graphic novels... yes, my pretties...
Also, the Weiss Kreuz items I bought off eBay arrived while I was gone. Squee! So now I have myself a gorgeous artbook AND volumes 1-3 of WK Side B (and a CD with the English translation). So the WK adventure can finally continue for me... and I can finally get to know this Chloe that everyone seems to slash my boys with.
I ordered The OC Season 1 as a guilty pleasure, because I kept DVRing it off the Soap network and realizing that I couldn't bring myself to delete certain episodes because I wanted them to watch more than 3 times... so I finally broke down and bought the damn set. *sigh* I hate admitting how much I love that show, especially season 1.
I mostly ordered the season when I did because I needed to tack on a few extra bucks on an Amazon.com order to make it free... (though I almost bought it a few weeks ago, so that wasn't the only excuse). But what was the other thing in the order, you might be asking (if you're actually still reading this)? Perfect Strangers Seasons 1 & 2. YES! I've wanted this series to come out on DVD for sooooooooooooooooooooooooo long, and now it finally has! I'm definitely so happy I could do the dance of joy! Seriously, that alone makes my week. Now I have to wait until it arrives but it was $5 cheaper than if I'd driven to Best Buy so worth the wait. Plus I have a GAZILLION movies I need to watch anyway. And my new, very pretty Torchwood Season 1 DVD to play with in the meantime. But, YAY! Perfect Strangers! Squeeeeee!
Haven't watched LOST yet. I recorded the recap episodes but they're SO fing painful to get through without laughing so I might just skip all 3 hours of them and go straight to the new episode. I did get caught up on Prison Break this morning and watched the NCIS episodes that were recorded last week, too. I liked Eli Stone- I watched that last night and had George Michael stuck in my head all evening, but I enjoyed the show.
