Note: not cross-posted to IJ since I'm posting from work.
So yesterday I came home and my computer won't start. It's been dying a REALLY slow death these past few months and we lost power yesterday morning and apparently that was the last straw. My baby is dead (and along with it, all my notes about the rest of LMOM!)
But I backed up most everything a week and a half ago so I didn't lose *too* much (assuming my backup worked as it was supposed to). Problem is, I still have about $2,500 left to pay off on my credit card (ONLY from dentist bills- three crowns at $1,100 apiece and some random fixes/fillings). I was *really* hoping my computer would last me another month or so until I paid that off. Arg.
Friday I have off because it's my comp day for working that one Saturday. I plan to spend it: sleeping until noon, going to the optometrist to get my glasses fixed *finally*, and then probably going to see Indy.
And tonight... right after work I'm going to Wolf Trap to have a picnic dinner with the DC Ringers group and then see Lord of the Rings!

I'm soooooooooooo excited! I left my hat/sunscreen at home (doh!) but maybe I can get someone to bring it round to me or skip on home during lunch to get it. And I'll have to go to Giant Foods during lunchtime to get dinner/picnic foods. Yayness. This is going to be fun! Meeting new LotR fans and seeing the movie & music performed right in front of me- what a lovely way to end a very tiring week!
