If I work hard over the next two days, I might just be able to finish a special Halloween Strokes fic I've had in the works for about two years now... in time for Halloween!
If I work extremely hard, I might be able to get a Pirates of the Caribbean fic out in time for Halloween, too, but it's looking less likely by the second. I didn't get home today until well after 11:30 so all my writing time was erased. The muse was with me Sunday so let's hope it sticks around on Tuesday and Wednesday when I have nothing planned after work!
Because I desperately want to finish this story. But I need to give it a quick edit before I post it, too, and there just aren't enough hours in a day! Unless I blow off my job. But I kind of need my job.
If all goes well, after this next paycheck on Friday/Saturday, I should be able to pay off my VISA bill from FaerieCon a few weekends ago and then I'll be... get this... completely debt-free! Yes! I paid off my student loan completely this month (2 months ahead of my goal) and now the VISA bill I ran up this month (mostly the hotel stay) should be no huge problem. Will have to tighten belt until mid-November but it's worth it. I'm SO excited about the possibility of being debt-free for the first time in ten years. *knocks on wood just in case*
