I'll be here all weekend...
Jun. 11th, 2010 07:17 pmI had a bloody awful day today. I sat under my desk at work crying for five minutes, if that gives you any indication. But on a good note, I may be getting an air condioning unit for my office so my frelling monitor will work longer than 1 second-long intervals at a time! It's really hard to do website work when you only have one second every 10 seconds to type or move your mouse. The heat and nasty headache and the stupid office drama and the computer store giving me a lecture about my company's status with the university didn't help at all. It was just a bad day all around.
Also, I'm trying to set up a Wordpress blog for a client and the damn thing isn't installing properly. The first time it installed 4 blogs and support told me to uninstall them. Now it says it installs correctly but it lies and doesn't install. Just a bloody blank screen. SO FRUSTRATED. I keep submitting updates to support. Eventually they'll fix it, but it's annoying when I have the energy and just want the darn thing done so I can work on their new site. I purchased "expensive" software so I could design the BookCrossing Convention site the way I wanted it so I'm trying to get my money's worth and using the software for everything I can now. LOL
I'll be mostly trying to destress all weekend (I have some nice things planned on Sat & Sun, but mostly I'll be inside where it's nice and cool and my computer monitor works). Want to help with my happy? Ask me a question! http://www.formspring.me/tarotgal

On a happier note... I'm nearly done with Buffy Season 5 and then... then I'm going to have a marathon of Ghostwriter tv show episodes! YES! One of my favoritest shows from when I was a kid was just released on DVD and it arrived in my hands yesterday! I'm soooooooo excited. Gods, I had SUCH a crush on Rob. You have no idea. I'm totally going to feel a bit pervy watching these again as a woman. LOL But he's my age IRL (give or take a few months) so it's not really so creepy :-) It was highly appropriate back when I feel in love. But, more importantly, the show ROCKED! I watched every episode dozens upon dozens of times. I had scenes practically memorized. I can't even tell you which my favorite mysteries are. I LOVE the environment one. And I love the comic book one. And the Vietnam Vet one was amazing. And there's one hurt/comfort scene with two of the boys that never failed to get to me (I remember rewinding my video taped-from-tv version so many times to watch that over and over again) *happy* Can't wait! "He's a ghost, and he writes. Ghostwriter!" *facepalm* Gotta love it.
