Too much excitement!

I don't have my MOCs up yet or most of my photos, but it'll take some time (I took more than 900 photos) The write-up and photo recap are done, though.
I'm heading to NYC this weekend to go see DR in How to Succeed in Business. And I'm going to the Harry Potter exhibition again. Yay! I'm hoping to also do some snarfing and to go to FAO Schwarz.
But there's two pieces of exciting news:
1 - Cassandra Clare posted a Malec (OMG best combined pairing name ever) bit from her new book and it is all kinds of wonderful with h/c and sweetness and they're TOTALLY my favorite pairing in the series so it's great they're going to be in the book AND with their own plot line. 2 - I'm putting in an offer to buy a house! Now, I might not get it, because it just went on the market this morning. And I won't be heartbroken if I don't get it. But it's a great place for me (and big windows Maxwell will like; there are two cats living there now, in fact). The yard is beautiful (butterfly garden, small deck). The kitchen is new, the washer & dryer are new. There's a fireplace and three bedrooms with big closets. I'm not getting my hopes up, but I'm EXCITED! My own place! Very exciting. I'd love to get it, but I'm not going to be devastated if it doesn't work out this time.
