Day Three of Living Through my To Do Lists
Jul. 3rd, 2013 10:32 pmThe lists are definitely keeping me moving right now. I'm so bloody exhausted. But I'm also up to 2010 in my watching of all Vlogbrothers videos. Yay!
Tomorrow I'm meeting a friend to explore Rock Creek Cemetery. I suspect it will be raining because it has been RAINING every day here for as long as I can remember. On Friday, I tired to go to a Harry Potter meetup and just couldn't get there because I was soaking wet and the water was coming down so hard I couldn't see through the windshield but if I COULD have, I wouldn't have seen much as all the traffic lights around me went off and some of the roads were washed out. It's been crazy here. SO MUCH RAIN. I like rain. I like rain more than sun. But it's all humid and icky after it rains and, frankly, my camera doesn't like rain at all. So I would prefer no rain tomorrow.
On Friday, I'm going to try something I've wanted to do for a while now: write for 24 hours. Now, it won't be a full 24 hours because I do plan on sleeping and eating and showering and going to the bathroom. But the idea is to devote yourself entirely to writing to one day to get to a place you won't necessarily have reached if you're just doing it for a few hours at a time.
So we'll see how that goes. I'm excited about it. There are a couple things I've been meaning to try out and I think that might give me the time and opportunity to try them.
