Strange life.
Jul. 26th, 2013 08:12 pmAfter spending my Friday evening filling up 200+ water balloons and editing photos of LEGO creations, I realized that sometimes my life is stranger than even I expect it to be.
In other news, one of my new coworkers came to my office to ask me some questions today about registration and said "wait, who's Impala is that on your desktop?" LOL I pointed to the Dean & Sam t-shirt I was wearing. He said it was the best tv show on the air. He said he started watching it because a lot of X-Files crew went there to work and that he likes the moster-of-the-week format episodes a little more than the long storyarcs. He also said something about less Dean & Sam crying moments, at which point I had to stop him immediately and tell him that if that happened, I would be the saddest fangirl ever. I love me some angst. He also said he really wants to write a screenplay for a movie where Jensen Ackles and Jeremy Renner are bothers. I am happy this guy's in my office now. LOL
Otherwise, this has been one of the worst weeks ever work-wise. I actually left the office crying one day and two other coworkers were in tears as well. This is not a healthy work environment and management refuses to accept that there's a problem.
I finished Oz last night. More tears. And screams. And laughs. A great series. I'm SO glad I finally watched it! Even if a certain season 6 episode had me shaking with sobs; I'm still not quite over that. I haven't cried that hard over a show in a long time. Unfortunately, I'm the only person I know who has seen it so I have no one to talk to and it was over so many years ago. Once again, I'm late to the party. The party of sick, dark, depressing bad guys you can't help but like a bit ;-)
