OK, well, first draft's finished. I'm going to look it over and then have it betaed (hopefully- Hermione mentioned she wouldn't mind, so if that's still a possibility or if there's someone else if she's too tied up with work right now)
But I'm happy. My first Lord of the Rings fic. I'm a little nervous about some wording. I really don't know if I've gotten some of the characters at all right... and my use of elvish is probably so bad any beta will die laughing... but at least the first draft's done *G* It's pretty short- only 13 pages. But that's 3 times the length I had anticipated, so that's not too bad for a first fic. I think my first Harry Potter fic was something like 3 pages, if that.
I'm still deciding on a suitable title. I'm so terrible at titles... its working title is LotRLeg1, so I can't possibly stay with that. Maybe something will hit me as I edit?
