Small update this time. I've been without e-mail for several days now, so I figured I'd cheer myself up and update a little so it's not so big a task next time :-)

So, this time we have:
*2 new Harry Potter stories- Second Time Around, Snuggles and Some Seriousness
*1 new Star Wars story- Warming
*2 new video clips
*2 video clips reloaded on request (ST:DS9)
*Links added to comprehensive links page

Second Time Around is previously unposted and contains some minor spoilers for 2 stories I've not yet written. So just keep that in mind if you're thinking about reading it.

Okay, so that's it for the update. I started a new R/S series last night. At least, I think it will be a R/S series. It could just be a more general HP one. Anyway, it's based off the 5 senses. At least, I think it will be once I finish more than just the first story (which is Eyes). Anyway, so that's what's been side-tracking me today :-) Just thought I'd share. heehee

Oh, wow, tg! I cannot believe that you did a Remus/Bill W. fic! I am just...I don't know, I am thrilled! OK, my first love is Sirius, and it is nearly impossible for me to think of Remus with anyone else. But I will tell you that *if* there is going to be someone else in his life after Sirius, then I cannot think of anyone better than Bill. Truly!

Bill and Sirius are a lot alike, despite the fact that they come from very different backgrounds. They are both very handsome and very intelligent guys, both give off this aura of being "cool", both live fast-paced lives that they have devoted to the Order and so their fearlessness and selflessness is something else they have in common. I can see why Remus would be attracted to Bill easily and of course, there is no question that anyone who met Remus, male or female, would fall in love with him. He is *all that* and then some.

Bill, even though he has small parts only in the books so far, has become one of those characters that I love to love. When I go on my yahoo groups, we have little Bill Weasley fan clubs...he has a lot of fans out there, I guess! I am glad that you are one of them, and that there will be more Bill in the future! he is great when he is sick too...I love how he always says "Excuse me"!

One more thing, I really liked that whole part about Remus being the alpha male of his pack, the Marauders. He *is* exactly like that, the caretaker of everyone, and he is right about being really good at it. I loved that and I may have to steal it...oh, by the way, I write Sirius for a role play group, and I had him say "Teams are for pansies" the other day! I am sorry, but that line was so good, I had to steal it! Have given you proper credit, though!

Also, I read S & S, and loved it! Surprise, eh? I wrote you about it on the sneezefic site, if you want to see!

*happy bounces* I like to think of Bill as having the best traits out of Remus and Sirius without all the angst. I like to think of him as the highly intelligent, daring, selfless adventurer. He seems so sweet and kindhearted, so observant, and yet so strong and commanding at times. And cool. Yeah. Oh yeah. I talk a bit about that in my first Remus/Bill unfinished fic- Bill keeps doing things that Sirius would do and it makes Remus distance himself a little. It's hard to be in a relationship with someone when all you think about is your dead lover. At least, I'd imagine it'd be hard. Remus/Sirius is my OTP. No doubt about that. True love, lifemates and soulmates. But I don't like seeing Remus sad and lonely for the rest of his life, either. He spent so many years sad and alone when Sirius was in Azkaban that I don't think Sirius would have wanted him to spend any more like that, either. I'm sure at some point they had this discussion. Still, it's one thing to say that when you're in love and together again, and another thing to actually go off and pursue another romantic partner after the love of your life is dead.

And then I read a couple fanfics and the idea seemed to make a bit more sense to me. I read a fabulous one about a half a year ago where Mrs.Weasley is trying to set Remus up with Bill because she's not a huge fan of Sirius and thinks Remus deserves better. Molly made some good points, but I still got angry at her for her Sirius insults. heehee

Anyway, I'm so glad you're a Bill fan *G* And glad you liked the fic, as well. I KNOW I don't have Bill's character down yet... it's going to take a lot more practicing, I think. But, yeah, it's hard NOT to like Bill *G*

heehee Well, they're still in the polite, feeling each other out stage of their relationship, I think. First illness between lovers tends to be something that's a bit awkward no matter what.

One more thing, I really liked that whole part about Remus being the alpha male of his pack, the Marauders. He *is* exactly like that, the caretaker of everyone, and he is right about being really good at it.
I really think of James (and Sirius to an extent) of being the leader. But Remus is *so* strong and protective of those he loves, it's hard NOT to see him as the alpha male, wanting to provide and protect, watch everyone's backs every moment, and take charge when the situation calls for it. He doesn't boss them around... they probably wouldn't listen to him if he did. But he knows just how to reason and care for each one. That's totally an alpha trait.

I know I've read a LOT of fics where Remus is the alpha male... so feel free to use it, but as I didn't invent it, no worries about crediting me :-)
