Snow surprise

It's snowing out :-) Started an hour ago, but I was watching 'Girl, interupted' which, sadly, mirrors my life way too much right now. Fantastic movie, though.

Anyway, it's snowing!!! *bounces happily* I didn't know it was supposed to snow today, so it's a lovely surprise. It's all pretty out right now - though much of the snow hadn't melted from the last storm. I turned down boyfriend making spaghetti for me in order to finish leftovers from last night(to be honest, I don't want to waste the leftovers and I need the tofu). And I burned my heating pad in the microwave so the whole apartment smells bad. Gah. But snow makes it all better *sigh* Especially since it was completely unexpected. Think I'll make some hot chocolate (Mother sent me some for Valentine's Day) and finish the Aragorn/Legolas story since they're out in the snow. Seems fitting :-)

I love snow...especially the pretty, thick flakes that fall very gently to pile up faster than you'd think. There's nothing quite so peaceful and lovely as a freshly-snow-covered landscape at night.

And I'm so happy you're writing another LotR fic, especially one with snow! It brings back happy memories of when I first read your fic 'Refuge from the Cold', which I still read every time I want some good sniffly elf h/c. :)
