Just found this cute since I ship Percy and Oliver (as anyone in their right mind should because they're adorable together, LOL!) Tis from an interview with Chris Rankin:
I'm curious about fan fiction and the connection between movie Percy and fan fiction Percy and how that makes you feel?
Ahh, it's fantastic, I love it all. No, it's very funny actually. Certainly some of the slash fiction is I've read over the last couple of years has raised a few eyebrows. It's just highly amusing that anybody who's got such an imagination can come up with such a bizarre storyline. Percy and Oliver Wood, those seems to be the most popular ones. Someone sent me one about Percy and Ginny – now that was wrong! It wasn't nice. Some of them are very good stories, especially the slightly less revoltingly dodgy ones.
Ew. Okay, so I write twincest, but Percy/Ginny. Ick. Not my cup of tea at all. heehee Less revoltingly dodgy... not sure that applies to my stories. Most likely not, depending on how people define what dodgy is :-)
On an unrelated note... I watched Celebrity Mole tonight (among other things) and GAH! I have never ONCE gotten the right answer to that show! I could have SWORN the mole was Mark Curry!! GAH! I thought "No WAY they'd pick models two seasons in a row" but there we go, they did. Gah! I'm an idiot. Going in I thought I HAS to be Mark. And if it's not, it's Dennis. Gotta be. Couldn't be Angie. But it was! AHHH! I felt like an idiot and a half. I never get these things right. LOL! Though I adore Corbin and Steven- definitely the best part of the whole series was watching Corbin. So the last episode where they're all together and replaying scenes and talking... that's always my favorite part of the whole show. heehee!
Oh, another random thought. I really want to go see Secret Window. It looks terrifying, but I love movies that examine writer and story dynamics. And, okay, it's Johnny, but I've been wanting to see it ever since I saw the trailer in movie theaters and it looks really good. Just need to go with someone so I don't get too freaked out. Psyco dramas are the scariest things to me. Gore is just childish, and horror flicks are downright stupid. But when movies use psycology to be scary... that's what gets me. And to have someone claiming to have writtenn a story that came from your head hunt you down, yeah, I'd say that's bloody terrifying! heehee
I'm so hungry. I think I'm going to get rid of my food journal because, frankly, it's making me eat nothing and I'm damn hungry and tired because I'm not eating and that's just stupid. It doesn't make me eat healthier (because I never had a problem with that) it just makes me eat less or nothing at all. I'm going to buy some vitamins at the store tonight. I think I need 'em. I definitely need more iron, that's for damn sure. And I just need more food in general. So hungry... and tired... but must stay up to tape Witch Hunter Robin. Must find food and not fall asleep in the next half an hour... MUST! :-)
