Interesting day so far...

tarotgalThought I'd share... I'm making cookies. I've never made cookies in my apartment alone before. It's the stupid cut 'em from the dough kind... because I didn't want to buy milk, vegetable oil, butter, flour, eggs and whatever else I'd need. But I've had the urge to make cookies for days now. So here I am :-) They're just boring chocolate chip. I would have made chocolate peanut butter chip but I'm giving some to boyfriend and I he doesn't like peanut butter, the freak ;-)
Okay, so I was driving to buy cookie dough and orange juice today (almost ran out of gas- twas scary! LOL) and I was behind this truck. The company name printed on the top of the truck was, and I kid you not, P&N Asphalt Paving. Which, of course, jumped out to me as Potter & Neville. I was seriously cracking up.
And, for the first time in a year, I finally got to see the dog who lives in the apartment above me!!!!! From the sound of the bark I was sure it was a yorkie, and today I finally saw it- it was! Ohh I'm SOOOO good. LOL You know you've lived next door to too many yorkies in your life when you can identify the dog by the sound of its yaps. LOL But I'm relieved. I was beginning to think I was going to move out and NEVER figure out what the dog looked like. Boyfriend saw it a couple of days ago but could tell me the breed. *sigh* He's so not helpful. LOL
Okay... just wanted to share while oven is pre-heating :-) Potter and Neville Asphalt... has a nice ring to it...
