Male Sneeze Music Video

Enjoy :-) You'll need winzip(or similar) and Windows Media Player (cuz I dunno how to convert vids to other formats... sorry!)

I'm toying with a Stargate SG1 sneeze vid... it's the only fandom I know which yields enough sneezes to justify a short vid dedicated to that... only I don't know all the episodes in which Daniel sneezed... the pilot, I know. And 'One False Step' I know... but I can only guess as to others... so if anyone knows, that would rock. Is Solitare_AU out there somewhere? :-)

Glad you're enjoying the interesting things that spill out of my mind from time to time... I watched another episode with Daniel sneezing last night and Mmmm I've got bad resolution- don't even know if the clips are vidable thanks to that... but it would be a lot of fun to string all of Daniel's cute sneezes together with some overlying brilliant theme which I haven't thought of yet *G*

Dude. O_O Would so offer to have your artistic, allergy-ridden babies if you made a Daniel vid. :P~ I think you've got all the rest of the sneezing clips (well, know of them) now, but if you run out, you can always just stick more Daniel in as filler. [whistles] But now you've got me curious: what music would you set it to?

And now I've gotta say that this is a very cool vid. Not only because of the original content and idea, but for the diversity of the clips you've managed to get. Love the choice of song, as it goes well with the sneezy theme, and all of the good stuff that revolves around that. I'm impressed with the number of clips you've gotten, the obvious work put into this vid, and not just all mashed together; clips from the same show/movie/fandom are spread out. Gotta love that. On the crit side, it's a shame the quality isn't better, and I'd say it seems a bit "loose," but that's simply because they're from all over the place.

So here's hoping you do more of these. ^_^

heehee! Ok, Stargate first... did I mention how much I love your LJ pic? *G* heehee I'm thinking it will be a Daniel vid, that just concentrates on his sneezes at the chorus, you know? Yummy, heroic, brianiac... spliced with the geeky/sneezey aspect as contrast. The only thing I've really figured out is which sneeze I'm going to end with... *G*
As for song choice- I really don't know yet... I've considered using a song which contains sneezes... like the divine comedy's 'the pop singer's fear of the pollen count' but ick... it doesn't really fit. SO I think I'm just going to find a song that reminds me of Daniel and perhaps yeilds itself to this contrast in his character... if you have ANY suggestions, I'd be mooooooooooooooore than happy to play around with them!! My only problem is quality of clips- the ones I'm getting online are of very bad quality... and some are episodes with captioning in German or something LOL So I might have to do some more playing or something... the episode 'Singularity' has a sneeze in it... not sure if that one was mentioned in my attempting to list them, but there is one there... Anyhoo... I'm hoping as I watch more SG1 eps an appropriate song will pop into my mind.

As to the other video- yeah, sorry about the quality. I can't take responsibility for that, though. I can't digitize my own things so I must rely on everybody else out there. And yeah, I gave up making it fit about halfway through... tried to change clips appropriately as beats hit, but I lost that in places, I'm sure. I was happy about my coordinating a few clips, though... like "How did I you I needed you so badly... How did you know I'd give my heart gladly" to the Forever Knight clip where Nick complains about being hot and Nat feels Nick's forehead for fever(mmm, my sexy sick little vampire *G*) I was also trying, at times, to time the sneezes so they were inbetween lines and could be heard slightly better. I played around with the sound a bit... I think I probably would like to turn it up just a little more in the clips so the sneezes can be heard better over the music... but a few clips are originally so loud that I didn't want those to be too loud... arg... But I just couldn't drown my Harry baby out there at the end, so I thought I'd just let the music fade out before I put him on screen *G*

ANYWAY, thank you for your feedback!!!!!! I, um, hadn't gotten any at all about the vid and I was beginning to think people were watching and thought it sucked so badly that they didn't want to admit it to me. LOL Sorry again about the quality! But I'm glad you enjoyed it :-) heehee It was a lot of fun to make :-)

Thank you! Couldn't resist making an icon out of such a cute geek. Now that sounds well wicked. There really aren't enough clips to constitute an entire vid, and why only make a short one when you can go for the whole shebang? And if you're heading in the whole h/c direction, there are plenty of sweet, hurt Daniel moments you could pass off for illness, or just use for the hell of it. Sam petting Daniel's hair in Prisoners, or sweaty, pale, shirtless!Daniel in Into the Fire to name a few. But any road, back on track. Song suggestions? That's a toughie. I can see where you might get stuck on that one. One the one hand, it's hard enough finding a good, meaningful song to go with just Daniel. And on the other, what the hell do you use when sneezing is the theme of the vid? Gah. Will have to get back to you on that one. Where do you get your clips, btw? Do you get them from a peer-to-peer client, or off the internet? The few sites that had good quality ep rips have been harassed into shutting down, it seems.

Ooh, didn't even notice that one. The FK ref, that is. Can see why you gave up, though; unless you have the knowledge of the fandom inclusive references, it's just another pretty clip to look at. But! Still, go you for making the thing, and putting the work into it. I hadn't even noticed until you pointed it out to me, so I doubt many would. ^_^ And I've gotta say thank you for the end of the vid. Squeaked when I saw that.
