I had an exciting day of staying home while mother and grandfather drove back up to PA to search for relatives in graveyards. Started three new stories- damnit! *fights back all new bunnies*

Sister did her last behind the wheel today and got her 90 day license thingy. Yay :-) I still drove her to the mall and gave her money to buy a friend a bday present. But I... *I* bought a LOVELY Legolas/Gimli bookmark at Borders. I was trying hard not to be all fangirly in public but I love love love love love it! *squee* My boys *G*

Landed a dog sitting gig from today until Sat. I'm sleeping over at their house every night and visiting several times a day. Should be fun. The dogs are HUGE but I love big dogs. And two of them are SO affectionate! The other is sweet but shy and hides around new people for a few days. So I look forward to seeing more than the top of his head some day soon. The others are a lot of fun, though. I'm looking forward to getting out of the house more, too. Wish I had a laptop to write on... all these bunnies are furious and fast. Kinks and angst and sneezy boys oh my! :-)

WOW! Photobucket just redesigned their site! *goes off to explore before eating and heading over to the house- which has a heated pool and the biggest basement I've ever seen in my LIFE*

Is the Legolas/Gimli bookmark the one that has a gold-toned tassel with a little Fellowship leaf trinket attached to the string? If so, I have two of them (bought one for myself and one for a friend, only to find out that my friend had done the same, so we each had two!), and it's such a cute bookmark. I use one as a bookmark as it's intended, and the other one is presently dangling from the rearview mirror in my car. I've rigged it so that my lovely Elf and Dwarf are always facing me when I drive to work.*G*

I think I remember you mentioning you had one before, but that sounds too cute! *resists the urge to go back out to the car for the 6th time today to hang the bookmark on the mirror* I already use a special bookmark when reading the series, but I couldn't pass this one up (I'd seen it once when I was without money and never saw it again, so I was very excited to see it yesterday)
And awwww! How nice it must be to have a RL friend who shares in your ship preferences. My sister seems to belive in Sam/Frodo but I can't get her mind around anything else. And other friends make them constantly explain the appeal of slash in general so they're far off still.

But... yeah... *snuggles bookmark* I've made up far too many stories already to explain their expressions on it...
