Today's progress

tarotgalToday's adventure: Drove to Baltimore. Did a decent job. Far better than I thought I'd do on the beltway. Waited around for hours in the hospital. Managed a whole day full of small talk, which I must admit strayed to topics like fanfic and anime and the X-Files. But we talked more about Bush (grrr!), the weather, and out pets than anything else. I'm walking their dog again tomorrow morning. Then I drove them home. It went well. I didn't know where I was going half the time, and we hit rush hour traffic and got home hours after we were supposed to. But otherwise it went well for my small part. I only hope the docs can make him feel better once they get the results sent down and everything.
Today's writing exploits: Nada. I couldn't sleep last night so I managed a couple paragraphs on the Legolas study. Gimli's a naughty dwarf. How I *do* love him so. *EG* But I got home and ate and crashed. Watched Big Brother and In the Jury Room and the Amazing Race and Jeopardy (of course. I love Ken!) But am FAR too tired to write. Or edit anything, even. Will go to sleep now. Er. Shower first. Then sleep. And I'll get a whole 7 hours if I can fall asleep now. Though knowing me I'll lie down and suddenly feel inspired to write another fic. heehee
