I watched Lost just now. It's like Lord of the Flies with good-looking adults. And parts scared me (like the engine on the beach thing) so I don't think I'll be getting on an airplane any time soon. LOL But I'd give anything Matthew Fox was in a chance. And he was surprisingly fantastic. Looks like a good ensemble, though it's kind of hard to tell when all people do is freak out about one thing or another. Then again, looks like that's the basic idea of the series and they were all great at that. So that bodes well for the rest of the series.
But more importantly: Dom. Guhhhh. I know I've mentioned it before, but I have a serious weakness for guys in hooded sweatshirts. I don't want to call it a fetish but it probably is one. And, more importantly, guys in hooded sweatshirts in the rain. *swoon* So let me just say I THOROUGHLY approve of Dom's wardrobe *EG* He was excellent. Very adorable. He totally stole the screen when he was on. With his humor and "I'm Charlie, by the way. I'm fine, too!"s and his adorableness. *deep sigh*
I mean, Matthew Fox was great and all... taking charge of things, offering ways to survive, etc. I don't blame the love interest chica for going after him. But Dom... guhhhhh... I loved. Perhaps it's just because I've been writing Lord of the Rings stories all morning, but it was great to see him in this. He didn't disappoint.
I'll definitely watch again next week. It's not exactly strong plot-wise. And I predicted pretty much everything before it happened. And it was pretty clearly a "try to hook you on the mystery in the first episode" kind of pilot. But it does have potential. And it certainly wouldn't be the first thing I ever watched just for the cute actors. In fact, that's the only reason I've ever watched anything with Matthew in it... LOL!
