My Night

Had a weird night. I don't even know how to describe it. But my eyes hurt from tears and fatigue. My paper is finllay submitted after so much trouble- it was late by half an hour (damnit) but I think (I hope) they'll still accept it.
I don't even know what to feel. I think I'm just going to go make some nice soothing coffee and flop down onto the couch and watch what's his name go crazy with an alien inside him... and watch Jack get all emotional... and watch Teal'c beat him up... yeah. Sounds good. Good plan. Closing eyes good. SO little sleep... so ug... what a night.

Maybe I'll pop in Velvet Goldmine in honor of Ewan's bday. Cute sexy naked boys singing and covered in glitter always cheer me up for some reason... go fig.

Nah, it's my fault. But the guy I talked to through e-mail at the conference was SUCH a sweetheart. Said nothing about it being so late, was just concerned I couldn't submit it and he offered to type in my entry manually if I sent him the document. Then he sent another e-mail saying he was glad I got it in and hoped to see me at the conference. Not that the paper will be accepted, but it might be. Still, isn't that sweet? What a nice guy. So I'm less worried now :-)
