tarotgalWatched my first ever episode of Starsky and Hutch tonight- I was flipping channels and stumbled across it during the opening credits! Very lucky, I was. Wow. It did not disappoint me! The plot was everyone thinking there was a hit out on Starsky. It was a brilliant first episode for me to see, though. The boys got nearly naked no less than three times (There's something about wearing a towel and a gun in a holster that is very delicious!) and spent a very long sequence completely drenched in the rain. There was humor and action and very nice guys. I definitely liked. I was planning on getting this whole series on DVD one day, but I'm thrilled to have seen an episode first so I know (not just from slash fics and music videos!) what I'd be getting into. Loved it! Definitely have a plot bunny biting at me now, too! *G*
Started watching season 5 of the Sopranos tonight. So I'm getting close to catching up with that. Watched ER- my GODS but I was worried!
Finished the Gravi Gift fic for Aimee. Hope it's all right!
And got an update on my family. My mother and sister are flying out to CA on Saturday to be with my Grandfather. My mother has 3 siblings so there's an aunt (the one who lives in L.A. and has been taking care of my grandfather out there), an unclue (who flew down a few days ago) and another aunt (who lives in Canada, lucky thing). So we called my Canadian aunt yesterday again to talk about the situation and found out she'd been in a car accident. Big snow/ice storm up in Toronto and she was in her car about to turn onto a street from another but couldn't stop and a car smashed into her. So she's in no condition to travel, and the car's wrecked, but there's no permanent injury to her or the other driver. Which is good but ARG! This is not a good week for my family! LOL Just found out more details on my grandfather, too. Doesn't look good. SO he won't be leaving the hospital this weekend as we'd hoped. One day at a time... but... gods... bad, bad week!
