Watched/Taped Roar tonight. Mmm Heath's too cute. Watched a bit of Enterprise, too. Fell asleep in the middle. I really like the ensemble, though it's not as great as TNG's. Doesn't help that Reed's accent is just too darn yummy or that it's Scott Bacula. He looks good in anything. But I love the doctor. He's just too quirky and there's so much depth to him. lol
My cat's being very needy tonight... I'm not exactly certain why, but I started to consider getting him a playmate tonight. He's such a baby... and he's my baby... and I like that... but maybe he really does need a brother or sister to play with? Ah, I'll keep thinking.
I played a bit of 'Grand Theft Auto: Vice City' tonight. I don't understand a bit of it. The intro was great, really wound me up. Then suddenly I'm standing in the street- what am I supposed to do? I have no bloody clue. So I just ran around beating up people, stealing cars, running people over, etc. I managed to steal 3 police cars- that was fun. But I SUCK BIGTIME on those car driving games... I just don't have the proper coordination. I have Super Mario 2-D coordination... not driving skills. So I ran through a lot of lamp posts and people and cars. I think I beat up a few police officers, too, and got to acquire their weapons. Ick. It was revolting. My favorite part (for my paper) though was when I punched a woman in the mall and she says "Oh! I think I broke a nail!" *sigh*
I played the sims briefly, too. I'm no good at it either, but at least I understood the plot LOL! Ok, ok, I made a Sim named Sirius Black with a white tank top and sexy leather pants... so what does that say about gender stereotypes? LOL Bad mind! Out of the gutter now!
Finished editing 'Vacation'. I think it's actually a nice fic. I'm waiting to finish another one or two before posting it. I revisited a few stories of my past tonight... 'Lights, Camera, Action!' and, er, that one with Scott the overprotective Daddy and Brian his little son. And I reread what I had so far of my Xavier fic- I think I'd like to pick that one up again... there's a very interesting dynamic between Sayge and Xavier that I'm feeling in the mood to revisit. And 'Escape'. I think I want to do a sequal to 'Escape'. The lure of the gay nightclub is very difficult to resist. (OK, so I watched a 'Queer as Folk' music vid tonight, too. So sue me lol)
Anyway... did I clean today? No. *grumble* And tomorrow's filled with meetings and work and visit to the elementary school once again :-) Yay!
