tarotgalJust a reminder: HP: Chamber of Secrets is on ABC tonight! Added scenes, interviews with the trio actors, behind-the-scenes bits and clips from Goblet of Fire, AND the teaser trailer for the new Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe movie (which makes sense, as it's ABC/Disney)! SQUEEE! (Thanks to my KS for reminding me about the trailer- I heard that a few days ago on my narnia list but had forgotten *huggles*) So I'll DEFINITELY be watching & taping that! Yay!
Well, I got some of what I needed to do today done. No movie, sadly, which also meant no trip to recycle the stacks of magazines in the back of my car either.
But I did buy the rest of the presents for my mother, printed photos at CVS from my digital camera for the first time, got gas in the car (at $2.23, which isn't bad around here!), had & overcame a crisis regarding registering for a mediation class (deadline was today and I made it), stopped by work and solved several problems, made a run out to try and catch a BookCrossing book that I never found *pout*, and finished another fic for the LMoM. Add in a nap, an extra hour of sleep this morning, and Maxwell sleeping for a half hour while curled up completely on my lap (second time EVER he's done that) during Jeopardy, and it was a very good day. Even if it wasn't filled with Orli and Liam and won't be for another week or two.
I also caught the tail end of an interview on ET with Johnathan Rhys Meyers. Oohhh sexy Brittish boy! *squee* Max was on my lap at the time but I still pointed Johnathan out to him because, you know, he's named after one of Johnathan's characters and all. I SO don't care about/like Elvis very much but I'm totally going to be watching the miniseries. Johnathan and Rose from Charmed? Absolutely! John looks so perfect, too. I'm impressed with the boy.

Date: 2005-05-07 05:52 pm (UTC)The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe movie is coming out in December 2005. The second movie is slated to come out the following December, but that's not set in stone yet, so to speak.
So far, it looks very good, even if I love the old versions of the movies the BBC did. These movies use the same special effects people as LotR so hopefully they will look good as well to people who've never seen the old movies or read the books.
