Lull at Work- buying Obi & hatching stuff

I actually have a few moments to check e-mail at work. Imagine that! My boss is taking a nap and I worked too quickly this morning and already got all the big stuff done. Yayness.

Went on a hunting spree yesterday afternoon, last night around 2am, and this morning before work in an attempt at buying manilla mailing envelopes and plain 2-pocket folders. I went to Shoppers (grocery store), 2 Safeways (grocery store), Target, Staples, Office Max, CVS, 3 Giant Foods (grocery store) and FINALLY found one box of them at the FOURTH Giant this morning. I needed 3 but I bought 20. Just in case. I've had trouble finding them in the past, so better safe than sorry. Might as well buy a year's supply! None of the stores had manilla envelopes except for Staples, Office Max, and Walmart (which I finally bought them as they were cheapest there)

Giant also had all their school supplies 50% off, which is like Heaven for me! *drools at the yummy notebooks and pens and tape and things*
So I bought 3 packs of my favorites pens as well.

At Walmart I bought some mechanical pencils which should make working out math problems much easier for me. And I bought an Obi-Wan figure.

I saw it at Giant on Sunday but didn't buy it and have regretted it since. They're all sold out everywhere now, but I managed to find four of them at Walmart- the little Obi-Wan action figure with "Slashing Action". I'm sorry, but how could I resist Slashing Obi-Wan? *giggle* Definitely worth $5.50 just for the packaging.
I resisted the temptation to buy Bail and slash them together, since I'll probably keep Obi in his packaging.

Thanks for the fb on the hatching situation thus far. I appreciate all of it muchly.
Also I have a stupid question- I've read the sneezefic list description a few times through now and I know it's for *mostly* male sneezes in fics, but I have a female sneezing plot bunny I submitted to the hatching because I can't write it myself and would love to see it written about. Is that appropriate to do considering the hatchings are filtered into and based in the sneezefic list? I wasn't sure if it meant NO female sneezing or just mainly male. So... yes... thoughts/emplanation? Should I remove the bunny just in case?

I figured I'd add my two cents on the bunny issue even though I consider myself still "new". I think it's fine to add the female bunny, doesn't the description say "mostly" male sneezing(I can't remmeber exactly)? It's not like anyone will be forced to write it if they don't want to.
Also I hadn't commented yet on the bunnies, I think I like the two bunnies per week idea. I really look forward to the bunny every week even though I don't write for a ton of them.(I do have one almost done and ready to post write now....)
I also think we should keep accepting new ideas, think of the great plot bunnies we could be losing.....
But I really think whatever works for you is most important tg. You're doing all the work so I don't want to suggest anything that will put more work on you. (Especially not if it'll take you away from your writing.....)

Heck, leave the fem-centered bunny in the mix. Sure, the group seems to tend toward male-centered fics, but I don't think anyone is going to object to a fem bunny, and it might just inspire someone who would not have written otherwise. Bunnies seem to be like that, making us take risks and think in new directions. I'm all for it!

It's just mainly because of the large girl/gay man ration on the group. There is a fem-slash group, I think. You can post there with probably more participation, but I'm sure you'd get something if you posted to sf. It's mainly male, but as I understand it, both are welcome. I hope this ramble made some sort of sense. ;)
