Hey from CA! (and fic rec request... and a short note to Shadowscast)

Hi all :-)

I'm still on vacation, but just got to my aunt's house and I've commendeered her comp for e-mail checking and all that jaz. I unsubscribed to most of my lists so I only had 958 new messages :-)

Anyhoo, everything's going all right here in Cali. Bittersweet, of course. Left my grandparents' house today and went to see their memorial and we were all crying again when he hit the road to go to my aunt's. But it's kind of nice to be here at the end of all this, so to speak. And it's been fun seeing most of the family again all at once. Though I must admit I've resorted to fanfic reading on more than one occasion to maintain my sanity ;-)

So I'm still getting back late Wednesday. And all is well.


But I do have a tiny request for anyone still reading this ;-) Anyone have any recs for good Sawyer/Sayid slash? I just watched Bride and Prejudice the other day and I've been DYING for some good angst goodness from them. Hell, I'm really just hoping for some damn good pr0n with them /-) So, yeah, if anyone knows of any good ones, please send the URLs my way! Thanks!

And Shadowscast- I couldn't resist reading Chapter 16 now that it's posted. FAN-FUCKING-TASTIC!!! The prefect ending. Er, beginning. What a lovely final chapter on an already deliciously wonderful fic. Thank you! ANd I promise you FULL FB on all your fics as soon as I'm back. I started writing some out longhand while I read and that so wasn't working ;-) But suffice it to say, I loved. ANd it definitely made my day to read that chapter just now. THANK YOU!!!!

I was a little reluctant to reply to your message because I didn't want to add to your in-box but then I thought of a place you could look for new Lost ficcage: Lost-Forum.com. There is a bunch of stuff there and lots of different message boards set up about different 'ships and fic. Yeah, just thought you might like to check that out. Anyway, have a safe trip home!

Ohhhhhh! Excellent *logs into account* I'm definitely looking forward to it, too. Had a rotten night last night (I've lost my voice almost completely) but being able to watch Buffy and Angel episodes while up and not being able to sleep made me feel better. Ironically, Hush was on this morning. LOL But, yes, lovely Spike moments today that totally have me in the mood... even though I'm in the middle of writing a Fred fic right now ;-)

I shall definitely get you at least SOME feedback before the weekend and Harry Potterness hits.

So much excitement, all at once! I'm going to get the Harry Potter book at a bit of a lag, as I'm going to be all cheap and borrow it from a friend.

I hope you get all back to normal soon, poor thing! But at least your voicelessness doesn't hamper your typing. *g*
