tarotgalI knew I shouldn't buy it... it really makes NO sense to buy it, especially since one day I'll buy all of Buffy and Angel on DVD. But I did anyway. And now the 4-epsiode & 1 featurette Spike: Love is Hell Best Buy Exclusive Spike Collection is mine for $9.99 plus tax. I know it's probably a bad move in the long run but I'm broketh and I had a gift card and couldn't resist a whole DVD of Spikey goodness to tide me over for when I finally do buy the other seasons on DVD. Now when I need a Spike fix I can just pop in one disk and be instantly happy. I've spent several days thinking it over and after a long day at work, I couldn't resist.
Luckily I DID manage to resist all the other nummy goodness filling the shelves at Best Buy. I desperately want to buy Earth 2 but I have this horrible feeling that the show's not as good as I remember (because I don't remember it being all that good, anyway) so I'd be buying it for sentimental reasons and evil!Tim Curry. Not that evil!Tim Curry isn't enough to justify spending $30-something on a series that'll be impossible to find elsewhere and that I was really, really into in my wayward youth. It's just... yeah, I'm broke right now. So I resisted. Good tg :-)
Okay... just thought I'd share. Think I'll go watch Lovers Walk now and watch nummy broken-hearted!Spike and pretend Spike's intentionally breaking up Xander's relationship for slashy reasons *EG*
EDIT: As I'm looking at my journal and this post with its mood picture and icon, it suddenly occurs to me how much fun it would be to write Farfie/evil!Spike. They *look* good together... but the sex would be diabolically delicious. Fuuuuuuuuuck! There's another bunny......
